Good intro. Having come back to ham radio after a 20 year gap, it’s certainly changed a lot! However I can’t help thinking DMR is basically making ham become a crap version of the internet. If I can ever get my head around it, it’s very complicated, then maybe. I’ll try it, But for me the joy is a simple radio and a microphone. I have whatsapp and Facebook for the rest and that has way more bandwidth… this level of complexity will def put a lot of people off. But thanks for the video, it’s helped to demystify it a bit. 👍
This is great because I know nothing about dmr and it was an enigma. People don't care to explain things to get noobs started in dmr code plugging.
