The recache strokes tab is missing now. Is there a way I could recache the grooming again after changing things like segment number or length? Edit : just figured out how to recache strokes. You can go to Assets > Asset definition toolbar > Show Always Then go to your guide groom node, on top, and change from guide groom 2.0 to guide groom, then you can use it in newer versions of houdini.
would you happen to know how to make guide partlines deform/sim correctly? I tried adding the guide partition node after guidegroom and the drawn curve stays with the original mesh instead of a deformed animated mesh. The guide sim some how sim incorrectly because the part lines are staying at the original mesh

recache is no longer supported in the newer versions of houdini
