@@prasanthmp500 okay they have one bengal monitor which is kept in back condition the last time i visit there, and all the turtles are kept in very barley movable space, the one good enclosure is king cobra. But the rest of the snakes are kept in a bit expect green tree snake. That pit is so bad, that i have no idea how they are feeding them or how the motion is going( imagine you and every people in every country and every one that can potentially be dangerous to you and for them are kept in a single room without enrichments) they are animals i know but they need their necessary things like a hiding spot is essential for a snake and keeping all type of snakes in a pit is never gonna be a good idea. They did pretty good Job for other animals snakes like spectacled cobras yet there are almost 5 of them in a single space. The birds enclosures are good, alligators and crocodiles seems of ok too. But the bengal monitor is in a very bad space, and snake bit shouldn't be there. And i have to mention an aquarium inside a room where they kept some red eared slider turtles which isn't big enough for one turtle. thankfully they seems healthy, but that's not what we need, they are giving an example for the visitors, if it is educational the thing should be perfect. There could a lot of kids who believe that they can keep a turtle like they keep their goldfish.

Yes, no state or central government is interested to save or make life of reptiles, animals, birds safe and healthy in our country. Pinarayi Govt. should forget thinking on political lines and make the Parassinikkadavu snake park the best in the world with expansion and providing all facilities and research so that people from all over the world come over there to see as well do research and study. Similarly, Kerala is so friendly in environment that we can have the best zoo in the world with all sorts of animals. But unfortunately, we Indians as well Indian Govt. doesn't value wild life which are an important part of environment and nature. Its an opportunity for Pinarayi Govt. to think progressively and create world class wild life speciality in Kerala and create a name for Kerala.
