Kid isn’t a creepy term. It’s really no different than calling someone girl, boy, bruh, etc. We’ve all grown up with them, but it’s so much fun to relive those younger days at their shows. I think if they had issues with the name they’d change it. I mean their first single off the new album is called “Kids” 😄
As 16 years old boy, Slayer fan, ugly like a gremlin, I hated NKOTB during my youth because they were what I couldn't be. I customized my envy saying how their industrial success was due to be good boy faces and millions investments. Watching this show, today I'm keeping on so ugly as 35 years ago but I enjoyed to see them. Furthermore, The God's Irony made I got married to a former member NKOTB Fan Club in Boston. I met her when she went out a NKOTB meeting girl's and her father picked up her. Then he saw me on a corner and made comments aloud about "satanic boys of Metal". I was rude and proceed to punch me down. She worried about me, wrote her phone number on my notebook for compassion and the story keep on marching and on and on and on. Without that meeting I had never known the only woman is able to deal with me. Our only one agreement was: no one of our children will have names from NKOTB or Slayer members and we fullfiled.
I’ve seen new kids on the block in concert in Franklin Tennessee. I was almost face to face with Jordan Knight, my childhood dream love, and he didn’t even acknowledge. I was standing there. Very disappointing.
TKCS is on summer hiatus... KC will be in Paris, co-hosting the Olympic Summer Games opening ceremonies for NBC/Peacock.on July 26th. The show will resume taping new episodes again in late summer/early fall. The producers are creating compilation shows (i.e. Boy Bands who have appeared on TKCS). They're including extra (previously unaired) segments.
