- This won at Anime Boston! That's been my dream and goal since before I even knew how to make AMVs back in 2006! :)
I saw A Walk To Remember one night on TV after not seeing it for a long time, and immediately picked up on the similarities between the two main characters in Clannad and the two main characters in the movie. This project was both very fun and very stressful to make.
You can read a lot more information about the AMV from start to finish and download a high quality properly synced version at the link below. UA-cam hates me and no matter what kind of conversion I try it's always a bit off sync or choppy. UA-cam doesn't display the lipsync correctly in some parts here, sadly UA-cam converted it a bit choppy again.

This video right here is what got me into anime. Thank you so much. It changed my life.
I went into a rabbit hole and was watching old movie trailers and it reminded me of A Walk to Remember, which immediately brought me back here. This one is a timeless creation and still holds up perfectly.
Now that was a really good amv trailer. The scenes you chose were absolutely perfect.
... I love how everything in Clannad goes perfectly with A Walk To Remember.... THESE ARE MY TO FAVE THINGS! T^T It's so perfect

I can attest to the hard work she did on this... watching her go thru scene edits, testing out clips with her, this is like the 10th time I've watched this and every time I notice something new. I hope some day she teachess me to edit half as good as her. She is an amazing editor and just an amazing girl all around. I love you Meli-Chan!!

I cried on the original trailer, and I cried on this one too. This is amazing! Everything is perfectly in sync! You combined two of some of my favorite things! Anime and A Walk to Remember. This made me want to see Clannad even more than I already did:)
I remember seeing this last year at AB10. I was so moved by it, and I still am every time I watch it. This amv was actually what convinced me to watch Clannad, so thank you.
This is incredibly well edited, and it all comes together so nicely. You did a fantastic job making this.
This is EPIC! No surprise that you won! The dialogue was in sync[for the most part. Sad that UA-cam ruined it]. The expressions/actions of the characters also matched. Just, EPIC!

found this vid 11 years ago. Can't remember how I got here but I did. Thought it was really well made and decided to look up the anime and watch it. Little did I know that it was *the* anime that'll hook me to the medium. I was just a casual viewer before, watching the long running shounens but Clannad... Clannad was the anime that made me look for other anime. "I didn't know anime could make me feel this way..." I thought.
so yea. 2021 and still a weeb thanks to this amv. I don't know if you'll read this, but I'd like to thank you for helping me make my way here. Thank you.

0_0 Wow... It's... Even though I've watched both A Walk To Remember and both seasons of Clannad, I'm one of the people that actually finds this quite beautiful and fitting for Tomoya and Nagisa. Nagisa and Tomoya have stood by one another from the start, just like how Jamie helped out Landon throughout the movie. The characters even act kind of similar too, if you really think about it.
