Although middle-aged, I only starting sewing in January of this year; the fabric lives have taught me so much about fabric weight, fabric style, how to use the fabric for individual projects and much more. The community chat is like sitting around the dining room table chatting about a hobby that brings us all together. Again, I have learnt so much about patterns, pattern makers, and what fabric suits which pattern; all from the lovely, generous folk that join every Sunday.
