This was definitely a Live performance and I have some LOGICS behind my opinion . I know that good singers also do lip sync sometimes . But I can say that it was surely a live . I would like to share my logics ---
1. Look at his breath management . How he was managing his breathing in front of the Mike especially in the 'Bolna' song . He was putting his mouth aside from the Mike . And it was definitely not his acting because Arijit Singh is not so good in lip sync and it is proved in other videos .
2. He did make a mistake while singing the 'Parwardigada' song. While singing , the 'Parwardigada' word was not clearly pronounced by him . In the second take , he pronounced the word correctly . Listen carefully to those lines .
3. The video and audio has gone through intense post production ... So it may sound like pre-recorded
4.. While singing , the line ' ... Bedard hain ... ' from 'Agar Tum Sath Ho' song , his pitching was perfect but his voice seemed a little bit stressed on the highest note . This was not his mistakes . But this type of points makes a live performance unique unintentionally .
5. The whole set-up of the performance was so nice and soothing . A floaty environment was created by the musicians and Arijit Singh himself . His pitching was perfect and the performance had a nice flow . So, it seemed quite pre-recorded , but it is not .
6. I know you are a trained and professional vocalist . But some other trained and professional vocalists also reacted on this same video . They also agreed that it is an Amazing Live Performance .

Bro, u r right that's it's recorded. But there is a reason of doing it. The facts must be known to you as you are an artist too. While broadcasting in TV, what they do is they filter the noise and disturbances so that TV Audience can enjoy the performance. In this process sometimes it looks like lip sync is phased out.

Just because others do it you think Arijit Singh also uses prerecorded tracks live, why? I have seen him live, he is fabulous and does it live and not use prerecorded tracks.
i have seen him live as well... I am not saying all of his performance are pre recorded neither I sad he is not singing live but what you are listening is pre recorded .
