My mother instilled this also, but....more importantly she let us gently know, contrary to what Pop said, we didn't need to bring home EVERY rock. Lol! I believe that Pop changed the very suffice of the planet. LOL My sisters and I would find a good pebbley spot and let the light shine on the stones. The agates just glowed. The best time was the last hour of light. We never arrived at the beach early for morning light. I think that condition where you eat things that aren't food is called Candy colored rock eating disorder. Actually, it's called Pika. Just love all the fleckled stones you got. Really though, I think out of all of them. The bracciated red jasper is my favorite. There was so many beautiful colors in there. But the bracciated jasper is such a deep, beautiful shade of red. Omigosh, My brain would be so overwhelmed with all of that. I'd never be able to sleep because so many ideas would be going nonstop in my head. Actually, this kind of is making me kinda wanna start doing clay again, cuz you can make so many stone type effects. It's just so darn time consuming, and my oven in this place has crazy, inconsistent heating, and it's impossible to judge what to set it on, cuz it's so irregular. Can't wait to see the rest! Sue 🤗💕
I am watching this a year and a half later and I can tell you these are very high quality beads and the variety is outstanding. Did you ever say what the source was? I redo jewelry all the time. Took mother's old chunky SW turquoise necklace which was too short. Restrung and extended with silver cones and leather - I was very proud of my self as I also know I doubled its value should I ever sell it. Be cautious of the yellowish stones called jade. Serpentine is often labled as "new jade" which can confuse buyers, it is not jade.

u should get one of those metal scoopers from fire mtn gems,bc they scoop up beads so easily and then they slide right into the bags as well.
