Force your LAN-Mode to 100MBit/s Full Duplex and there should be no stutter on SMB anymore! ;)
Where do you select those settings ? PS2 side or laptop/router side ? Never tested OPL with samba, I have always used internal HDD with FAT PS2, or slim PS2 modded with a HDD (and soon with a microSD). Do you prefer samba vs Internal HDD ? Thanks

I like it all! Everything has its advantages and disadvantages!
SMB-Storage is unlimited and the images can be compressed.
HDD can have the HDD-OSD.
MX4SIO is super portable and Plug&Play.

Everytime I activate the "Ethernet Link Mode" option and leave the "Network config menu" the settings won't save and the "Advanced options" turns "Off".

Hi thanks for video, I have same router but looks like it doesn't have write permission, so OPL and other apps cannot write settings and save files. Does installing Lede firmware solve this problem? Can you write data on NTFS formatted USB drive? Is there any guide to install, it would be awesome to use NTFS with this device.
