That whole show was ridiculous. Santa Barbara should have taken it. They were sooo underated it was awful. The WHOLE cast should have won in each category. Best soap out there to date.
Justin Deas and Marcy Walker didn't look happy with the submitted scenes for their nominations. It's just amazing that Santa Barbara got snubbed in 1987. It was simply the best show on daytime television. They won for the first time the following year in 1988.
Justin Deas was a treasure as Keith Timmons. Too bad he wasn't present the following year at the Daytime Emmy's when he actually won the award!@@dgmck6032
Actually, Billy Warlock is a year older than Marcy Walker. I hope Marcy has no regrets about finding a new path in her life. I was so pleased to see that she attended the 40th anniversary of SB's debut.
