New rider from Central Oregon, cutting my teeth on my FE350S. If you are riding and don't mind a noob tagging along, let me know when and where. Quality videos with an artistic eye, keep up the great work.
You made an excellent choice in machine, my friend! I would have loved to go hit the dirt with you man, but life took some unexpected turns for me and I had to sell my bike. Things are looking up and I'm still in Bend working to buy another Husqvarna or KTM. Ride safe and enjoy the amazing bike!
+Rider Life Yes these are near Big Bear, California. It can get pretty hot during the summer in Southern California, most of the terrain I ride is rocky, hardpack, and dusty. I still have a lot of riding areas to explore in this huge state!!!
Elevate Enduro thanks for the reply, i was just wondering cause i may move to CA in two years, i just wanted to get an idea of what the terrain looked like
Each Adventure Thanks for that! You’ll be pushed further and your skills will improve but it’s worth it. Beautiful views, as well. Airing down a bit helps, too. Speeds are low so punctures probably won’t happen. Cheers!
Nice Video. I have mixed emotions with the Rekluse. The bad thing about the Rekluse is no parking brake. So if you get in trouble and close the throttle, The bike starts rolling down the hill (the front tire usually is not enough to hold). So you have to either give it gas or use the rear hand brake if you have one. But there are other times with a standard clutch the bike stalls unexpectedly and the sudden lack of forward momentum will cause you to fall over. That doesn't happen with a Rekluse so it can save you on really slow rocky stuff. My bike came with a Rekluse from the previous owner but when it wears out I think I'm going to go back to a standard clutch because running a rekluse makes me lazy and I think I would rather force myself to have better clutch control.
I hate that damn trail... it just keeps going and going , you wish it will end.. its makes for some good memories after you get through it though.. imagine not having an electric start...
dave h Haha, it is quite grueling. I still remember the first time, not knowing when it would end or if the rocky sections were going to get the best of us. I can imagine the calories burned without electric start...I stalled too many times this run, for sure. Happy riding!
biketothetop Haha, thanks man. I’ve only had to turn around once when I was guiding a friend through that needed to go back after an injury. The other direction coming from the North side is much easier but still presents challenges. Thanks for watching!
hey just wanted to see if you have experience with this trail in Winter. Is it rideable around now(in January?) thanks and keep up with the great videos
I have not ridden this trail in the winter, so I'm not too sure about conditions. I'm guessing there would be more snow in some areas. Thanks for watching!
Yeah great video, the go pro makes those rocks appear soo small. My goal is to make it through that super gnarly bolder section without stopping, then hopefully without dabbing. I have the same 350, love the bike!
AZRydr Haha, for real! The bike stock is 14/45 but I immediately swapped in 13/48 (2015). I’m usually running 14f and 9r with HD tubes. (Sorry for late response, busy moving!)
Great riding! (and amazing Husqs, too).
great video. I'm exhausted watching it. Gracias!
+stopper90004 Thx! haha, yea...those rocks are tough to get around.
This video is what I needed to get me through the week. Thanks!
+Jeff Camacho Awesome! Glad to hear that. Cheers!

Awesome, can't wait to try it
Just concurred this bear today. It's no joke. Great video btw. I felt your pain on some of those sections.
hehe, it's a fun trail. Not too crazy, but hard enough to test your will. Thanks for watching! :)
quality stuff dude, idk how u don't have a lot of subscribers, keep up the good work
+Rider Life Thank you, will do. You are the 100th subscriber, nice!
+Elevate Enduro no problem u deserve my sub, may i ask, r these trails in California? if so what is California like?

So did you end up moving to cali?
Awesome video! That is one of the few trails remaining I have yet to conquer up in Big Bear... looks like I saved the best (hardest) for last, LOL!

Did you take it back? Devil's hole makes a nice loop, really round out a good ass kicking 👍
Usually just once through on a big loop. Always fun crossing Devil's Hole and taking a break for the scenery.
Try raising the idle on those thumpers they will stall a lot less if at all. Great video
Tough sections eh. Talk about having to fan the clutch eh?
I wonder if the Rekluse clutch would of shined in this scenario?
Ya, gets sketchy quick! I'm sure it would!

Fun to watch someone else get tortured by this beast of a trail. Nice work!
Good job sticking with it... you have no choice but to persist after certain point :-) Do you think the other direction would be easier?

Good work!
+duramax diesel Thank you!
🔝👍
Did this frail today, camera does not do it justice hahaha it’s so much more gnarly than it looks.
Definitely makes things look a lot easier on the GoPro! Hope it was a memorable ride, man.

Jesus, the rock trail from hell...!!! Were you running stock gearing? What tire pressure?
