But I bet there are many unfortunate members who were forced to retire or never had chance to shine despite their hard work. How do they cope with life afterwards? It’s not like everyone can become a teacher or choreographer… maybe for next episode - “various life after stage”

I’ve known guys flipping on concrete/cement floors at well over 40s. Some are retired now in their 70s & they seem to be doing fine. I think with extreme caution and good technique it can keep you safe :)

Of course small numbers of people will become teachers or choreographers but I bet those numbers are very few. A lot of people fall into depression when they have no where to go nor have skills to contribute to society. I’ve seen similar things happen to actors and dancers from other dance companies…
