Guys, can you even imagine how crazy this is? Do you understand the sheer scale of landing on the moon? And the flight itself? These people are true heroes. They literally landed in a tin can, the walls of which you could kick through, in a place with no air, no life, and no way to evacuate if anything went wrong. It’s absolutely insane, even now. Can you imagine being surrounded by absolute nothingness, hundreds of thousands of kilometers from home? Everyone knows what happened, but not many people understand just how insane it was, considering computers back then were basically like calculators today. I just can’t grasp the scale and complexity of it all. I’d give anything to be in the crew of Apollo 11's shoes.
