Djokovic just crumbled due to the pressure he put on himself. There is only so much a human can take
Thanks for your confidence and absolutely mature playing❤️❤️❤️Three straight sets against number 1👑🌟🏆 What a brilliant match❤️❤️❤️
Congrats, Daniil Medvedev! First GS win in the USO!
commentator says: I think Medvedev is nervous, he has no finishing power. Bad remarks buddy, unya ni champion man lagi!
His finishing power was Djokovic’s lack of in this match. So many un-Djokovic like examples that rarely occur in such big matches
Exactly! What a HORRIBLE "analysis" from that commentator. Completely invalidated himself going forward.
Jag är jätte glad för att Medvedev van det var helt otroligt 🏆🥇💕💕🌲🇸🇪
So fast US Open. Hope you post Zverev vs Novak match too after this.

This crowd and AO22 crowd have hit the new low. I don't know why they boo him. He is competitive but a class act always. I hope this kid never stops dreaming
in australian open he was almost won the match but in third set he lost i feel so sad for him he is such talented player
@@xfg007 u r right if he not took the ao crowd seriously if will definitely the winner
@@shaluchoudhary821 it feels as though that Medvedev weakness is he can't handle a 5 setter in a GS final. He lost to Nadal back at the USO19 in 5 sets too.
Nadal is more experience with 5 setters. Well that's what I think.
@Aditya Singh saying the crowd has a low IQ is not the response of a "class act". Yes they were rude but he's not helping himself either
Anti Russian bigotry.
Respect to Medvedev- he’s had to deal with real tough crowds the last two finals
Wait till FO and Wimbledon. You haven't seen anything yet. All GS finals crowds are just horrible to towards newbies like Medvedev.
I could listen to Mary Carrillo commentate tennis matches 24/7 - there was no way that Medvedev was losing this match
Absolutely awful commentator
@@TheRafaelBond You're crazy. She's pretty much the best there is.
@@angelthman1659 yes she is ..She's not bias like Mc Neary,Evert on Emma and Leylah game.
Finally I have been waiting for this full video all my life
Medvedev look so polite and cuuuute 😘😚😚
The crowd in the US Open always....the more UNRESPECTUL of all Slams
Totally disrespectfil, rude to both Emma and Daniil.
True.
Really, thought was the French, or Wimby, or AO. Ppl need to stop crying!!!!! All the crowds are just as bad as each other, we only pay attention when they r cheering against our favourite!! Sigh!
Shame on these people who booed Medvedev on his Match-Point!!! That's an absolute No-Go in Tennis and shows no Respect! Please search for another Sport like soccer! absolute idiots! 😡
You are right. Last year was the same, they booed him wishing Nadal to win after Nadal"s winning two sets in a row but then...I guess you remember what happened.
Ans nivak applauded them
You're not wrong
The crowd was really disgusting.
And djokovic didn't say anything during the first match point 🤡
@@user-bn3qn6zt1c Yes, I think he enjoyed not to be the bad guy. It means huge greatness when someone stands behind his opponent in a situation like this and teaching the crowd to be fair and to behave! The same happens in the AO Finals - I don’t understand why Nadal is not teaching the fans to shut up..
@@ringostar6053 in the AO's final Nadal has tried to calm down the crowd but they weren't a real tennis fans.
DANIIL IS THE CHAMPION 🏆🔥🔥
Yeah baby yeaahh!!!
A historical win by Daniil against both Djoko and disrespectful crowd. He actually could have won at 5-2 in the final set, but the crowd was so toxic that he'd lost his focus on the game. At least at the end, they must have learned to shut up and respect the winner...
The way they cheer for his double fault at 1:38:10 was actually disgusting
And again at 1:46:21
The crowd had me rooting for Med.
Первые два гейма на своей подаче во втором сете , 5 отыгранных брейк пойнтов. Сложно и красиво. Браво, Даниил 🍂🌇🏆😊💖💕💟
Novak is one of greatest players to be still playing the game, but players like Zverev and Medvedev who are the future of tennis, have proved that they can beat him, if they play at their best
More like if Djokovic isn’t at his best. Medvedev played well sure, but certainly not as well as the likes of an in form Federer or Nadal even Murray whom Djokovic has beaten time and again
@@bullymaquire8797 Dj "wasn't at his best" because he was beaten. But why? The crowd was with him, even trying to obstruct Medvedev as he served. And Dj was able to play those sneaky trick shots yet he still lost.
@@bullymaquire8797 too many excuses, just accept that Djoker lost
@@bullymaquire8797 Lol. Only the player on the other side can beat the other player. Nothing more nothing less. Quit the lame excuses
@@soniavadnjal7553 in the big points Djokovic simply wasn’t his usual self. If you believe Djokovic can lose in straight sets going for the calendar slam playing in form, then you must have some ulterior motive for believing so.

Djokovic - Wawrinka 2013
Please! Those are great matches that you haven't uploaded
This match made me realize that the only thing the big 3 currently have over everyone else is experience. When they play against the likes of Thiem, Medvedev, Tsitsipas, and Zverev in grand slam semifinals/finals, their opponents get nervous and start missing shots and they capitalize. However Medvedev kept his cool here.
But failed to repeat i AO Against Nadal

Daniil has just shown clearly that there are no kings in this World :) . bravo!

Here after Novak’s 24th grand slam

Medvedev serves were off the charts that day
Clown of a commentator spent practically the whole match criticizing Medvedev’s game and strokes yet he proceeded to outplay Djoker the whole way. Lol. His game has taken him plenty far, winning 1 out of 3 slam finals and #1 in the world.
Djokovic was under whole lot of pressure in that year, but in 2023, Djokovic killed him in the final.
@@rileylopez3147 Cope lol. Medvedev played his A-game and it was clinical. Djokovic couldn't do anything about it. Medvedev was under plenty of stress having lost slam finals to Djokovic and Nadal before, as well as having an unorthodox game that's difficult to properly execute.
@boutatak3anl30 Djokovic had more stress then because he was going for the calendar slam.
@@rileylopez3147 He had "stress" when he was down match points against Federer as well. His mentality was hardly an issue during the match. He started off slow and Medvedev didn't step off the gas.
i remember being convinced medvedev would win the aussie open final earlier that year because he was playing like this all week and djokovic was hampered with an injury, however the occasion got to him totally. as a result most wrote him off before this match, however he came into this one a lot more composed
I think this is the beginning of the Medvedev era
The pressure of the Calendar Grand Slam can't be overstated. Consider that Serena, Martina and Novak all could not complete it, as the pressure got to all three of them. Only Steffi was able to do it on three different surfaces, which I think is the most impressive tennis achievement of the Open Era.
Thank you thank you thank you Medvedev for beating Djokovic 😁😁😁 Congratulations 👏👏👏👏
Lol. Only the player on the other side can beat the other player. Nothing more nothing less, quit the lame excuses. Med outplayed the great nole the entire match🤷♂️
I was rooting for Daniil, but I didn't expect him to win this way... unlike Nadal who came back from 2 sets down...
