Wow! Anton is really getting into broadcasting on your channel. This kid is blossoming big time! And I just noticed that he is starting to look like Dad a bit. And that BABY is looking great. Except he has the hiccups real bad. Bless his little heart!
Great informative video! I seem to be hooked on your videos...LOL! Keep up the great work Matt and Family.....looking forward to your next new videos.....
It seems that you spend 250.00 $ US per year on cooking oil. If you bought a hog and raised it for 1 year, you could get that much lardon AND a year's supply of meat! Huge benefit to your family. The cost of Mason jars for it's canning would just be a one-time expense, to use every year. When rendering the lard you will get crackling (chicharrónes), so you could save another $2.00 per kilo on crackers. If you are vegetarian, you can sell the meat for a large profit. Bone broth is a highly prized food source that is verry beneficial to your children. Here in the US we pay about the same for these basic food groups. We find ways to make our dollars stretch. I am looking into a bio-gas generator for my cooking energy source. Onion, potatoes, peppers and tomatoes are EASY to raise. My tiny garden space produces all I need. A family will take a bit more but still doable. Have a GOOD life !
Im doing a bread&cracker spread from fatty pork belly and onions with some herbs this i polish tradditional snack, we also use it for scrambled eggs and fried rice
This was very detailed & useful information, for those of us who are working on our own budgets for living in the Philippines! Thank you very much for sharing! :)
Electric, gas are similar to USA. Food, propane is cheaper in PH. Another comment mentioned if you can raise your own hog it might help. Animal fat is easier for the body to digest than plant oil and great for growing children. Also fat is a great source of calories
Couldn't the higher prices also be because it's a little more expensive on an island than on the mainland or the large islands? Otherwise, I think the prices for meat are quite high for the Philippines when I compare them with Germany. As an example. Currently mixed minced meat from LIDL with 70% pork, 30% beef costs €5.24 per kilo, that's 325 pesos and it costs exactly the same for you. Similar with poultry, but turkey and not chicken. Normal price per kilo = €4.49 (279 pesos) currently on offer for €2.99 (186 pesos) wierd
Me and Flordeliza liked seeing the current prices. She informed me of the high cost of fuel in the Philippines bout six years ago. Not too many folks driving gas hogs to be sure . I see you still have the jeep "starship" , I watched all the videos of that the other day, seemed like a total rebuild, ...great for stuff for sure.
The difference in price on goods depends on the accessibility and transport of every product. You live in an island so the price of some goods are much higher because of transporting the product. So whatever product available in your island are much cheaper.
Thank you guys. Interesting. Surprised that milk fish increased so much. I mean for a country surrounded by the sea, with seafood being a staple diet along with rice, both items increased significantly. Strange.Thank you . ❤️you guys
Hello growing Family, thank you for teaching me, the 7 word rule for the algo - did‘nt know about he likes words. What a picky guy :) - whenever you come back, you can stay in my bamboo house :) Gill is not here anymore.. cheerio - keep up the videos.. 😊
I have been traveling back and forth to the Philippines for over 20 years. I don't believe the prices ever get back down to how they "used to be" not land and housing but local food prices may have room for adjustments depending on the supply.
Your excel sheet calculation is wrong in the category "Difference %". For example white onion. Before 250 Peso and now its 130 Peso. Thats not 92,31% decrease. Its less than 50% decrease. Next line cocumber: From 80 Peso to 50 Peso can not be 60% decrease because a 50% decrease would already half the price to 40 Peso. I think all are wrong after doing a few calculations but the white onions example was the most hehe 😊 ✌️
It's a simple economic equation. Gas/oil effect the prices of everything. Biden signed just under 100 executive orders on the industry thus increasing the cost, That cost is passed on to everyone that relies on goods, energy, heating/cooling, transportation, manufacturing. The only people benefiting from Biden are Leeches of the welfare program but once that runs out they will be stuck in the same boat as everyone else.
My Goodness- what a wonderful family!❤
Thank you 😊

wierd
Thanks for feedback, yes smaller islands can be more expensive because of transportation, middlemans and lack of competition
Hafa Adai ( Hello) Matt and Family... 🤙

Shout out from Brampton ontario Canada
Thanks for watching, Grandpa.
And shout out from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
Very good research. I think the inflation in Camotes itself was way more than 5%. I think between 10 and 15%. Enjoy
We are enjoying the weather now here 😆
I really love watching your videos. Thanks for your hard work!
So nice of you 😉

I have been traveling back and forth to the Philippines for over 20 years. I don't believe the prices ever get back down to how they "used to be" not land and housing but local food prices may have room for adjustments depending on the supply.
I don't think so it'll go down 🤔

Not a big difference and cities sucks imo but You will get better service and groceries in the city
hi, will it be possible to get a update for house rentals 2024.
Hello! You may check on FB Marketplace. There are a lot of choices. Thanks.
The prices are about the same as in the USA you would think it would be cheaper in the philippines..
So our friends from the USA were lying 🤥
If you went old school and used cloth diapers and washed them you could save some money. Back when I was a baby they were good enough for me
We do have for our baby 😉

Yes. It was wrong. I didn't notice. Tomorrow, we will update 🙂
Mate let's be potatoes and onion farmers...
Your paying 4x what we pay in Australia.
That's insane...
In Poland we have potatoes for 20 php ;)
So basically we should all survive on white onions. 😉
Absolutely 😆
actually no difference between food in Philipeans and the US. Hydro is more So yu just save on rent. For canadians...food is cheaper in canada.
Thanks for feedback
Hello
Hi 👋
Yes my fiend....your calculations of percentages are almost all wrong.....(start price - end price)/start price x 100%
Yes. I noticed it late. We will update it tomorrow. Thank you
So much cheaper there than here in Australia
That's true. But not for the Filipinos. Especially if they earn little
Wait until the 3 guys are 18 = more Tanduay & San Miguel 😂
… but less more expensive milk 🤣
🤣🤣🤣
Inflation, they are now selling the bones left over from fish by the pound.😂😂😂😂
🤣💯
Nice comparison, but ur chart is hard to read on the phone!

I am sure magots will be blaming Biden 😅
