Montreal, Canada. Button pressed on Vettel till he went wide on the last lap! Amazing GP. GP was 3h long because of the heavy rain. Button was on every possible position during race, finally finishing first.
@Ja30SM Those left in the chasing pack turn to bickering, clawing and scratching as they search for that elusive glory again. At times there is also a glimpse through the window to the world outside, where good times and bad have far more meaning the mere sport can offer. Some have to leave the stage while others linger, held fast, thinking that triumph is still close at hand. It is a fine line between, he, who leads and those left behind in the spray.
I'm real racing driver, this video really touched my heart racing has to be felt by him and who is this video I gathered all the riders racing feel and know about racing. Thank you BBC. ass: Taylor Morales(only one race driver q loves what he does)
@Ja30SM What drives them all on, it is the thought of glory, which in the end can only fall to one man. So a salute to those who race, to those who win and loose, succeed and fail in the blink of an eye. And a salute to the champion, to the man who now enjoys the favours and despoils but know that in the quickest of sports, success can be fleeting and savour the glory while it lasts.
This is why in my opinion the BBC always was the true home of F1. On Sky it is just a sport, just the technology, just the racing. BBC was always able to take a step back and appreciate the sport for what it is really about. F1 is politics, F1 is culture, it is art - and poetry - and theatre - and music. F1 is about the fans, about the people, about the highs - and the lows, F1 is about life.
Yeah I agree. F1 on channel 4 sucks. When F1 was on BBC, I used to watch most of the races live. Channel 4 also did this from 2016-2018 but then 2019 they stopping doing live races in other countries except for Britain.
People thik that formula 1 is just another car race when cars go round a track. No. Formula 1 is something more then that its a way to bring people together, people, communities, countries, nations. Formula 1 is a magical sport. You'v got to think outside of the box think of the effect Formula 1 has on millions. Formula 1 is some what amazing. Just think its not all cars going round a track
@Ja30SM A salute to those who race, who ride in the crucible for success and failure screamed by. Two contrasting sides, separated only by fractions by a thin brittle line. For a while perhaps, victory and glory are companions, the world, it seems, belong to you. But never think it is forever, once slipped across the line and you are lost. Once a challenger now no more than a follower, once champions now only supporting players.

Such a shame BBC had to make cuts, because I can just tell Sky's coverage this year will be rubbish even with Martin Brundle. Ok then the BBC has lost a few of it's F1 staff but I still think it will give very enjoyable coverage for this season. Last season I would get up for the Asian races at like 6am instead of 7am because the coverage was so enjoyable. Frankly, as long as Jake, Eddie and DC stay the BBC will still be the best!:)

If you don't feel some emotions from this ... you'll never understand formula 1 or racing in general. Good stuff ✊☝👆
Brilliant video, it always makes me cry...
Nearly 3 years ago now... Time Flies...

Did BBC made a similar season summary for 2012?
Link please if so.
A salute to those who race
Who ride in the Crucible
Where success and failure scream by.
Two contrasting sides.
Separated only by fractions
By a thin, brittle line.
For a while perhaps,
Victory and Glory are companions.
The World it seems belongs to you.
But never think it is forever
One slip across the line
And you are lost.
Once a Challenger,
Now no more than a follower.
Once Champions,
Now only supporting players.
Those left in the chasing pack
Turn to bickering, clawing and scratching.
As they search for that elusive Glory again.
At times, there is also a glimpse through the window,
To the World outside.
Where good times and bad
Have far more meaning than mere sport can offer.
Some have to leave the stage while other linger,
Held fast!
Thinking the Triumph is still close at hand.
It in a fine line between he who leads
And those left behind in the spray.
What drives them all on,
It is the thought of Glory
Which in the end
Can fall only to one Man.
So a salute, to those who race.
To those who win and lose
Succeed and fail in the blink of an eye.
And a salute to the Champion
To the man who for now
Enjoys the favors and the spoils.
But know that in the quickest of sports
Success can be fleeting.
And savour the Glory while it lasts.
