- The Dynamic Walk Orthosis is a new AFO made of a lightweight moldable carbon fiber composite material. The open heel construction allows for optimal fit and comfort with various shoe types. Utilizing medial and lateral PEEK rods for active flexing, Dynamic Walk provides dorsi-assist with subtalar inversion and eversion control. This high activity design enables freedom of motion and the ability to walk, run, and climb stairs without the need for straps.

i m a young runner with a problem like this,
i wish i could run like this one day....
I have a dropfoot almost two years now. I fell down in the garden. Just extreamly bad luck. I have a standars orthese that snappes two times already. My dynamic walk will be ready at the end of this month. CAN'T WAIT!! I will leave a comment whem I have it about how it gows with this thing. Butt if I have to believe the comments over here it will improve my live with a 100% Still hoping the footdrop will vanish some day. Butt if it doesn't I can get by with this thing.
I think this video just saved me from amputating my foot... I thought that i would never be able to run or jog again with my dog, clearly I was wrong.

I got hurt riding dirtbikes and was told i would never be able to run again... after 3 surgeries, drop foot was the last thing i had left to get over... out of all the afo's i used this one and got back to riding as well as playing bball. awesome product! thanks for all you do!

had moped accident 2 + years ago and result has been footdrop. have had this brace from the get go and all i can say that for me it does work. i have just now began to get to the point to where i can run on a treadmill which i never thought would happen.. somedays i walk so smoothly that i forget i have a brace. did take me quite a while to find shoes that would work with the brace.. a lot of trial /error and $ for shoes.....
I have the actual AFO that they are showing in his video. It is so much better than the white plasti AFO that I use to use. You just have to make sure you have an insert in the shoe you wear it with because you have to insert the footplate inside the shoe underneath the shoe insert. I totally recommend this.
I just got this brace today and ran for the first time in almost two years. It works.

I got blisters on the ball of the foot wearing dynamic walk AFO. I have brain and spinal cord injury, my left quadriceps and my hip is weak, I can't run. I have drop foot ( peroneal paralysis).I've been wearing classic plastic AFO for 12 years. I also tried FES (functional electrical stimulation) but every 3 months it got broken or something didn't work, so I had to sent it to the tehnican, at the end I was tired of repairing it and I gave up. I bought this DW AFO but now i have blisters on the ball of the foot and on my toes. Anybody else with this problem? What to do? I'm thinking about gluing some fabric or textile on the footplate, maybe that'll help. But I'm afraid it will reduce the function of dynamic walk AFO. Any sugestions?
Great Brace! I bought my wife one like this! It help gained the confidence in her and is now able to climb up stairs walk and do loads of things! Denovo Healthcare in the UK is brill! I am from Dublin, Ireland.
Well I have since a week the Dynamic walk. And what an improvement! It takes some getting used to but it's much more comfortable than the old brace It was made of a kind of plastic that's also used to make plastic cups and stuff.
This is flexible. I can drive a car with it. So a big improvement!
I have numbness/weakness in my foot and I have to say my stability has improved and I don't feel like im going to fall over I can actually stand still its so awesome

I have a permanent foot drop for 53 years. I've tried some AFOs but, it's not not comfortable for my foot. I would like to buy this standard Dynamic AFO. I think works for me since my disability is similar to your model. How can I order?

@ronnetje82 What brace are you using now? Are you able to climb down stairs? I just started using the Trulife MatrixMax and its pretty difficult to go down stairs or speedwalk/jog/run. I think I might consider one of these.
