Heck I doubt they get many splits on a charge even with clean soft wood like this. You would have to have a gang of batteries on hand to constantly swap out just to run a half cord. I'll stick with gas power for things like this.
Yeah you could split ash with a hatchet. Let me bring you some yellow birch or rock maple. (Sugar maple) from here in northern Maine. That would destroy that thing.
What's the return policy on that "toy"? Put some fresh cut knarly Beech or some Black Birch on that thing and watch it break in the first 10 min. This product isn't meant for actual wood burners who use it to heat their home.😂 where's the trailer hitch so them city folk can hook it up to their Tesla?🤣🤣🤣
Sounds like your creating your own problem just to hate on an idea that would actually help a lot of people. I can see this being great in alot of places, but you are just dim witted and only see the world from your perspective. Shut up once in awhile
@@sOdEeP406mUsIc the colors are ugly, the quality of their new tools is junk, and now there "going green". Nah, I'll stick with my high emission 2 strokes thank you very much.
The fact that they use ash as the wood for the demo tells he everything I need to know about this splitter.

If it were red everyone on here would be drooling
Put something green on there or a piece with a knot in it and then we'll see how good it is
bro this is for store bought logs.

Looks like something that'd easily break or something you might get 10 min worth of use out of unless you have 48299295x batteries
150ish splits per charge
Thousand dollars and 10 inch max diameter I don't think so.
“Split up to two logs with our battery-powered splitter”
I don't want to pick up logs and put in this splitter, I want to leave them on the ground. It should stand straight up with the motor on top.
I need one of those
Put a good round of redfur on that and see it stop lol
I have plenty of Indiana oak that needs to be split.
Try real green hickory or red/white oak then I’ll think of considering it
How many tons of force?

What a great idea, let's buy a tool that does the easy work for me,.... And then pay a lot of money to the Gym to show of how strong I am

I agree 10 inch round at 16-20 inch length I could split faster and easier by hand and not have to lug that pos through the yard.😂
@@nathanielpreble5108 correct, it probably takes longer to take that out, set it up and then have to put it away
What has this world come to? Now we have gay electric log splitters, in case Ryobi wasn't gay enough in the first place.
I know... It could have at least been Milwaukee
Yeah fr
Why do people hate on Ryobi? ?

I don’t know what to think about Ryobi. They have so many options. It’s not even funny.
It’s overkill for home use but underpowered for daily abuse like a Milwaukee
