the difference between "a bastard" and "a son" is OBEDIENCE. Until you OBEY The Lord God has only simply spoken.. The proof that you heard God is by OBEYING. as many that are LED by The Spirit of The Lord they are the SONS of God!!

This is outright error boldly presented as the way of God. It's far from the truth, and it's potential for excusing "possessors of the Holy Spirit who are not under His government and that can freely operate His gifts" is great and damnable. Measures of the Spirit of God comes to believers according to the level of their knowledge. Those that pass the test of faith and obedience at any particular level of knowledge get called unto higher levels of the knowledge of God while those that willfully fail the test of faith and obedience during the period of grace, determined by the Lord alone as He wills, grieving the Spirit all along, get rejected by Him. This is exemplified by the experience of Saul, the first king of Israel, and also attested to by the Lord Jesus Christ Himself in His parable of the fig tree from which fruit was sought in vain for three years. The example given of the Lord Jesus yet allowing Judas to be among the disciples while knowing he was stealing doesn't support the claim that the Holy Spirit doesn't leave a believer because of sin, rather, it reinforces the truth that "periods of grace" are allowed for a willful rebel to reconsider his ways. But the period does surely expires, bringing the fearful wrath of God upon the disobedient.
You seem to agree with the message in the end but started by saying "outright error" hence your position seems unclear?? please contrast your Judas narrative with Samson. Judas went about with Christ like every other disciple hearing the teachings of Jesus- Christianity is not about hearing it is about DOing because doing is a proof you are LED. Contrast this with Abraham DOING- he heard he took his son up he did. contrast this with John 2vs 5 Mary mother of Jesus at the wedding in Canaan- whatsoever He telleth thee to do DO it- no more wine anymore but i know a man- but when he shows up WHATSOEVER he says DO it. Jesus said mathew 7vs 24 .. and whosoever heareth my words and DO them is like a wise man who builds his house on a rock when the heavy rain comes it has no negative impact on it .This is the deception why MANY are saved but only FEW ever become SONS. God is the only leader LED- once you CANNOT follow Him, He is Gone. in this farm their are only 2 parties- 1 SHEPHERD 1 sheep. a clay does not control the Potter. and He is not a emotional/pity party negotiator- it is either HIS WAY or nothing. no 99% with GOD. John the baptist said He must INCREASE while i decrease. period. He gives the orders- you follow NOT the other way around. JEHOVAH is not your staff, not your employee, not your slave, not your colleague, he is not on your payroll. He is not looking for a "co-God" or assistant deputy- Only HE is Captain, He is a LORD. the bold summary of this clip is that obedience is the proof of a man that HEAR The Lord. period!!. What benefit is it to hear God and do nothing about what He said?? Is God a talkative/someone who just finds jobless pleasure in talking and talking and talking- NO! consider the Abraham /Isaac sacrifice story. He took his son upon INSTRUCTION. read exodus again- everything was cool with The Lord and Moses until mosses called the shots- he struck the rock undirected and ungoverned- you lead them out of egypt don't make you THEIR LEADER not you Moses!! What good is a GOD you don't obey? what good is a GOVERNOR you don't bow to? (Christ was described as GOVERNOR by the angel in Mathew-"Now Mary thou shalt bear a son his name shall be called Jesus, he shall save his people from their sin and the GOVERENMENT shall be upon His shoulders). I think the preacher is saying your new life in Christ doe not stop at salvation. Obedience is a never ending curriculum after salvation. or why did Jesus tell people he healed that now you are whole- go and sin NO More. it means the healing is not the final bus stop. you have the responsibility to safeguard your healing by sinning no more.
