Overview of my 'new' truck - 1984 GMC Brigadier

I picked up another truck recently. The purpose of this truck is to fill the gap when my F450 is too small for the job and the Black Knight is too much truck. I found it locally on FB Marketplace. It's in great shape for it's age. After dropping in 2 new batteries, it fired right up. I need to do some work on the lights. Headlights are currently inop and a few marker lights are out.

Yes it is. The folks that I got it from had another one almost identical. It was 'trash' compared to this truck.

Very nice rig the 3208 cat is an interesting engine. I’d call it the blue goose or the general is fitting as well.

Always liked the brigades and generals a friend of mine brought a new 1981 general he ordered it with a 3408 with a 5and4 I could have bought that truck several years later such wish I had bought it. I'm sure there isn't many if any generals out there with a factory 3408 and 5and4 out there

Ive got the same truck except its a tandem , 8V92 non turbo, she gets the job done havent driven er in a while though

Some guy i know is selling one for 10k has a big cam engine. Debating wether i should or not. Its a tandem so im kinda needing one just dont know how it would pull 10 tons

Nice truck buddy may want to check why that air dryer keeps popping off it could burn your compressor up
