Looks great Roma 👍 The new format of the video makes everything clear , concise and understandable. Love the walnut strip. Will look forward to the next video.
Would you recommend a first time builder taper the planks in order to avoid have to use small filler pieces. I understand its harder but is it worth it ?
If you are confident in what you are doing, great. Go for it. But to be honest the planking is not my strongest, I'm still not very good at it. But we all make mistakes and in this way we are learning. Good luck 🤞
Thanks for the video Roma. Any of your videos you can suggest that show your process of how you glue the strips? Would love to see how you do it. Thanks!
When the planks extend over the bulwarks or intersect the gun ports, anywhere like that, I used CA glue on the back side first before cutting or filing and it prevents the wood from splitting or lifting.
@@homeharbour6238 you can dry fit with the spare cut off planks laid down on the bulwarks to decide where to position them and avoid slivers at the top and bottom

Thanks mate)) really happy that you like new videos😉
It looks good! The video was fine too. I used 320 with very light touch. Take your time, sand softly with the grain and you will do nice
Glad that new tipe of video is good)) thanks

Do you use wood glue for the 2nd planking, and if you do what kind of glue?
Contact glue is much better
@@homeharbour6238 If you need to remove a plank, is it hard to remove after using contact cement?
