In this video, my friend Jamie Popper, shows you three canine fitness exercises you can practice with your dog to increase their balance, agility and strength. Canine conditioning is an important part of a balanced exercise routing for your dog. Each exercise can be done on flat ground, then up on balance equipment like the Blue-9 Pet Products Propel Air Platform. If you don't have fitness equipment, you can also use couch cushions to create a stability challenge for your dog.

cool, but how do I size up the equipment for large or giant dogs? the smaller size of the unstable plataform must be as wide as the space between legs + a litte bit more?

These single platforms work well for most size dogs including large breeds. They need to be wider than the natural spacing of the front legs. For very large breeds, there are few products that will fit ALL four feet on one platform, but you can typically link products together. For the sit-stay exercise, you can always use a large couch cushion or do the exercises in a stand stay with feet on two different objects. Hope that helps!
