Dude, that was the freakiest pt 1 video. I'm 45 and I have seen just about every horror film and that was one of the best films for low budget. You kids did an awesome job. Abandoned asylums scare the shit outta me. The way you did'nt concentrate on the whatever the they were, you just concetrated on the fact that the place was huge dark and disoriented. It's a great job.

The fact that people feel the need to point out 'fakeness' of this shows that the filmmakers did a pretty good job. I love found footage stuff, but I get really annoyed at people who think they're more clever or smarter than other viewers and so they feel that they need to expose 'fakery' -- as if the rest of us don't already know. Anyone who posts sh*t like that just proves themselves to be both arrogant and dim-witted.

On Oregon Live Archives there's a film called IN OUR CARE about FAIRVIEW TRAINING CENTER in the 1950's, when Oregon "warehoused" it's developmentally disabled. I know, I was a nurse for many of these patients in their later years at EASTERN OREGON TRAINING CENTER in Pendleton until it closed.

When you guys to locations like this, you must follow these steps and you need to have something to protect yourselves from!! Step one make sure you have something to drink and bring extra just in case you find someone who needs help, that's not trying to set you up... step 2 you must have some sort of weapon to defend yourselves from any creature or entity, step 3 is a must to remember.. if it bleeds you can kill it!! Follow these steps and I promise you will survive or make it out to tell the story!!! Step 4 if nobody wants to carry weapons then hire or find someone that will be security for you guys!! I'm available for hire or help as investigator or security guard

considering the budget, and the time it took to edit and capture, the movie is a good first attempt. Thank you for not putting your faces in every shot with wild wonder. - Also for not playing some garage-band stuff as a theme, okay?

I realize this is supposed to be found footage but the camera work is so shaky through the entire 20 minutes it is difficult to watch without getting sick. Also another character name mix up. The guy they found in the Asylum was "Matt" in the first movie (also referred to as Andrew - his real name - by one of the characters in the first film) and now he is "Mike"! Is it really so hard to remember the names of the characters in the movie you made?? Also, when they reach the empty, overgrown pool, the main character says, "You just have to lower yourself down, it's really easy to get up over here, I've done it lots of times." You've don't it lots have you? I thought this was your first trip to this place.

I know this is a micro budget thing and I enjoyed part one. I do however wonder how they went missing when they appeared to leave the place intact right near where they entered and saw people walking near by which I assumed was not the person in the building but citizens having a bit of a stroll.

So, this is exactly the same as the first movie, except that this time there are five people who could have over-powered the dickhead crawling around the derelict building! Wouldn't it have been better to have had all the friends gradually disappear one by one until only the knobhead holding the camera was around? At the end, I was thinking maybe the nutcase from the building would appear inside the guy's apartment, but it all just fell flat.
PS. Please make another part: these would be a good mini-series, maybe 4 or 5 altogether. 'The Asylum Tapes!'

The original was okay although I wouldn't call it scary but I really didn't like this one.
1.The place was supposed to be guarded but it didn't look like they had any problems wandering around there.
2.Filming with daylight shows the flaws of the "monsters. If you have one that is supposed to look like a wild animal then his body shouldn't look like he bathed recently And the survivor from The ASylum also looked way too clean.
3.Why go into a tunnel if you enter the building from the outside?

This video is a little amateurish, but very well done. I was scared throughout most of it, and as a survivor of 3 1/2 years as a POW in Laos, I've seen a lot of scary shit!!
