It is something that fans have missed for a long time. The Monday night wars had that drama and rivalry not just between companies but in the stands too.
I think WCW got abit of a bad deal in the UK. Us fans never really got it on a consistent basis like we did the WWF. I remember for a few odd years in my early teens the only way we could watch it was in German! You could still watch the matches but they used to dub everyone's promo so loud you couldn't hear promos or interviews at all! 🤣👍
What are your personal thoughts on the situation? Do you watch all promotions?all professional wrestlers? Or do you only prefer and watch one promotion over the other? 👍
@@TopTurnbucklePodcast So I have been watching wrestling since I was 2 and I am 46 now. Watched the territories, went to shows from NWA/WWF/ Indy shows. Went to wrestling school ( SUCKED AT IT). blah blah blah. I have given AEW several chances but it turned me off. WWE is slowing doing the same and I am enjoying TNA. I love wrestling and chatting about it
@@Someone-z8r Agreed, banter will always be there, what we find really interesting is every sense able Wrestling fan like yourself from all our platforms has talked about social media being where the jerks and toxicity comes from. We have had legitimate hated thrown at us as a podcast if we are constructively critical of a promotion which is unreal sometimes 🤣👍 We love TNA at the moment too and had the opportunity to meet and have a chat with Joe Hendry at an event we were special guests of 👍 Thanks for your comment.
I get it I said in the WWE reddit group, that Jade and Bianca were green compared to veteran wrestlers. They like many talent do not call matches or spots and instead are taught specific spots. I get why this is and I get it takes time to learn it, it is very nuanced. It takes YEARS of experience to develop good in ring psychology and let the match unfold so WWE teaches them to do it a certain way and let them develop. the response I got you would have thought I personally launched raids on theirs homes. I wonder what would have happened if I had my cult of cornette shirt on?

Good point. I always favoured WWF in the Monday Night Wars personally and loved the atmosphere of ECW! 👍 Thanks for your comment! 👍👍

@@TopTurnbucklePodcast To be fair most of the promos sucked.

@@TopTurnbucklePodcast I think any animosity is mostly banter, but the real jerks on both sides are just being amplified by social media.
