A brilliant minivan that really has become very popular with families. The V6 gives it some real zip!
I believe this is a 2016, but 2017 looks the same. read below for updates on 2018!
thanks Aves! ;)
It is a 2017, no matter what you say. The 2018 Odyssey will be revealed to the public for the first time on January 9th, at the Detroit Auto show. It’s expected to go on sale later this year, as a 2018 model.
Aves Raggiana I read that a few days ago online. thanks for posting for everyone to see ;)
PaneledJungle99 Right on. I love this minivan, but when Honda kept delaying the introduction of their redesigned Odyssey, I gave in and bought a 2016 last November. My salesman told me then that the 2017 would be a carry over from the 2016 model year, and he’d heard nothing about the release of the redesign. Now we all know. In two days time, I’ll probably be kicking myself for not holding out just a few more months longer.
Aves Raggiana Yeah, we are holding off. Waiting for 2018, upgrading from 2014.
Do the second row seats fold down?
Would be a better video if this was an actual 2017 Odyssey.
It is an actual 2017 Odyssey. Not completely ready to introduce the redesigned Odyssey, Honda made a late year-end decision decision to extend the current body style by one more year. The new Odyssey will be revealed to the public in a few days on January 9th, at the Detroit Auto Show. THAT new model will go on sale later this year as a 2018 model.
I got a 2011 Honda white oddesy van ad it is the same model....
Thats a 2016 model...
I have a negative and one negative only and that it is my 2017 Honda Odyssey Touring Diamond White Pearl had ignition coil problems and had to get replaced 3 times, the alternator and the transmission. Now do I love the Odyssey yes do I love the fact that I had problems like the ignition coil and the parking sensors switch? No i don’t yes it’s spaceish and yes it’s equipped with all these cool things I want them to but close to $60k now a used one it will be like like $20k or $25k. That’s my only negative
I believe this is a 2016 not 2017.
+Luigi Marazzi. Actually, it is. +Seyth Miersma has it right. The current body style will soldier on one more model year as a 2017. The completely redesigned Odyssey will be revealed at the Detroit Auto Show in a few days, on January 9th. THAT new body-style Odyssey will go on sale by the Summer or Fall of this year as a 2018 model.
Odyssey is definitely a perfect choice for family trip or something like that
I want to upgrade soo bad I have a 2005 now lx
Our Neighbor Has a 2016 White Honda Odyssey
Odyssey vs Pacifica vs Sienna? Which drives better and has better mobile room space?
best overall vehicle. period.I own a CRV, E350,Passat,porshe and my fave- My odyssey.
BTW. this is a 2016.2017 is not released yet.
Flaws.
4 wheel drive.
rear suspension horrible for people sitting at the back.
How can it be a really good value if it's at the tail end of the run but still charging 45k+ for the top of the line model? The pacifica handles better, quieter, faster, same or better fuel economy and in limited trim the quality of the interior blows away the Ody and Sienna. The vacuum in the pacifica is in the second row where more dirt accumulates, its also made by Rigid. Stow-and-Go beats having to pull seats out for maximum cargo space at a moments notice. The available safety tech package on the Pacifica with two forms of cruise control, self parking and lane keep assist auto braking is the shizzle.
sorry but i dont think this is 2017
No need to be sorry, this IS a 2017 model. Honda made a very late decision to carry on with the current body style since the redesigned Odyssey scheduled for sale this year wasn’t yet ready. The redesigned Odyssey will be revealed for the firs time in a few days, January 9th, and will go on sale later this year as a 2018 model.
Whats the diff. btw 2016 and 2017?
Practically nothing. The current body style is on its way out. The new body style will go on sale later this year as a 2018 model.
Sorry But that's not a 2017 Model That's a 2016 Model im not mad im Calm
Dude how tall are you?
Some people don't know how cars are released.
Good one.
I'm looking at one of these right now do you come with it you're so handsome
My Parent Could Have Got This Car But They Got the Kia Sedona But im not mad My Mom Said that this car will be our next car😉
Apple carplay?
I have a 2010 ExL and looking retrospectively, I should have bought a 2015 Hyundai Sedona. The van has cost me a lot of money in repairs, maintenance...Honda is the Japanese BMW -my line.
Wrong. Honda hasn't released the 2017 Odyssey. It is a full redesign. You reviewed a 2016 Odyssey. Fail.
+Rediscover Film. No, you’re wrong, and he hasn’t failed. He’s actually nailed it. This current body style is being pressed into one more model year of service before giving me way to completely redesigned Odyssey that will be shown to the public for the first time at the Detroit Auto Show, January 9th. That new, redesigned Odyssey will go on sale later in the year as a 2018 model.
Rediscover Film
the new model is 2018, this one was released in 2016 as a 2017 model
the Kia Sedona looks beat
This is not the 2017 .... # Fail
Not AWD compare to others very bad in snow
they are good in snow with decent snow tires. been driving them for years.
#MakeCarsGreatAgaiWe need to get rid of the automatic transmission and go back to standard transmissions, get rid of all these high-tech cars, and stop making minivans and smartcars. Also, get rid of all this mpg crap. Also, I drive a 1981 Jeep CJ7 with 11 mpg
Confused people here XD
niece. HONDA. odaseiy
LOL 2016
Nope. No reason to laugh out loud here. This is indeed a 2017 model. The redesigned, newest Odyssey should have been released for sale late last year or early this year. Various production problems prevented that from happening. Honda took the decision late last year to extend the current body style, one more model year until the newer body style was ready for production. The redesigned Odyssey will be shown to the public for the first time on January 9th, at the Detroit Auto Show. If all goes well, Honda hopes to have it hit showrooms by later this year as a 2018 model.
The 2017 has not changed. Honda is changing and redesigning the 2018 year.
