Lifetime Achievement Award Presentation to Noel O’Donoghue at Corofin Traditional Festival 2024

Noel is a flute player from Kilfenora, Co Clare, Ireland. He learned his music from the many great musicians of the older generation, including Doolin’s Micho Russell. Noel has been a cornerstone of traditional music in Co. Clare for the past 30 years and some his regular sessions are among the most famous in the County, such as the Sunday evenings in Gus O’Connor's Pub. He was a founder member on the beloved band “Moher” with fiddler Michael Queally among others.
