    This is just great. I just began a course in Philosophy of Science and this is a fantastic addition to my curriculum, and frankly better than the the lectures I'm receiving in 2016. Thanks Jack!

    Perhaps we are approaching such a revolution (37:00). And the problem that is fundamental and unsolved (39:50), would be, among others, the hard problem of consciousness and the role of the subjective observer! For too long has science attempted to describe the world from a purely neutral perspective - now the subject enters back into the picture, and turns out to be inseperable from the object it studies.
    Not precisely the topic of the lecture, but something it made me think of. Superb lecture series!
