The calm before any storm really gets my heart pumping lol I get nervous knowing what's coming even though it's sometimes so calm outside minutes before the storm.
Given the severity of this thunderstorm, you might want to check if there's a tornado watch or warning and if there's a flash flood watch or warning also.
This was a severe thunderstorm since it produced very high winds, intense lightning, hail and very heavy rain. We get these kind of storms here in Southern California during El Nino, usually in December, January, February and March.
