Bro this is exactly what i needed and was looking all around for this. Question is it mandatory to buy that plate that goes onto the trans to hold the shifter cables?
Thanks. To answer your question. No its not mandatory. You can fab it on there yourself. But its only about $30-$50 on amazon/ebay its going to make your life easier. So I highly recomend it.
@@Ed_Garage alright thanks 👍almost have my swap in and i was searching all the other videos to see where they route the shifter cables and your way of routing seemed the cleanest without drilling into the firewall
this one is a stock RSX. If you go back a few videos. When we first got the Green Integra done. We used a Ktuned no cut shifter. that one you can put the console back. But we didnt like it at all.
I didn't cover it. We have no intention on driving this in the rain or small floods. If you want it covered. Keep the rubber cover that came with the factory cables and cut the hole to fit it. So you can use the factory cover.
Hi mate im was thinking about getting the rsx shifter box for my h/f swap eg civic will this work any information will be appreciated, and your video is great 👍 im a newcomer to your channel 😊
Thanks. Unfortunatley I have not tried a H ir F swap. But one of our K swap integra is using an accord/prelude shifter. But Im not the one who did the swap we bought it like that. So im not sure what other parts or modification was done to make it work.
@Ed_Garage hi mate I've just ordered my adaptor plate for the rsx shifter box kit just to see if it lines up in the eg civic we're the gear leaver is and I'll keep you posted mate on how things go 👍
Hello! I have the same set up but when I put it into first gear and release the clutch to move forward it makes a grinding noise (only 1st gear ) then if I pump the clutch a couple times and I put it in first gear it engages all the way do you know what it could be ? Thanks 👍🏽
yes I drilled a hole with a hole saw on the floor. If you dont want to cut a hole, you can remove the heater core and run the cables through where the heater hose are.
@@khamkham7134 floor underneath the heater core. It's hard to get a pic since its an odd place inside and the headers covers it from underneath Pause it at 4:02 and 6:22 you can see the hole I drilled.

IMO it's definitely worth the money to not have to take an angle grinder to your interior.
Hi! what shifter is this? I'm trying to find a shifter box that I can still put my center console back. Do you have any recommendations?

You can use a billet shift box & if you’re not using the base plate I’m pretty sure it fits right back in the console with the boot just like factory.
@@Ed_Garage hey can i get a link to the video u guys were using a k tuned no cut shifter

How did you cover the hole to prevent heat and water from coming in?
