Thank you for a really excellent review... You look gorgeous in Rachel! I came to see the colour, but listened to the entire content. Yeah, that cap is really comfortable! I like it too - soft and stretchy. If you have alopecia, it's likely that your head is too small for that cap (I think they make them roomy to allow for people's own hair to be tucked under... ) If so, you will need to take it in for it to be comfortable and lay flat everywhere. I have been told that Jon Reneau wigs can be custom fitted and made in a smaller size at the factory as special order. Waiting to hear back now, how much more expensive it is, and how long it takes. It is also possible to take them in yourself, using scissors, needle and thread. It takes many hours to do it properly without ruining the wig and it still won't look perfect. But for me, it can't be avoided. I can definitely understand why Michelle at Mimo wigs laughed at you for preferring wefted backs! It's secondary in quality to full base. If you are walking on a windy day, and the wind is blowing against your back - a wefted wig will show the wefts and your bare skin beneath. Happened to me once. Also, if you are laying down with your head on a pillow, the wefts are uncomfortable. For that cap, the one thing I missed was silicone for tape, for extra security - so I'll sew it on myself. Your colour review was perfect, thank you so much - just what I needed!
Thankyou for taking the time to watch and respond 😊 I must admit now I have been wearing wigs longer I do prefer a handtied cap! I can forget Im wearing it yet with wefts I can't.... Sshh don't tell Michelle 😂 wow I had no idea they could custom size, definitely won't be cheap that's for sure! I have since bought another JR Rachel, and either my head has got a bit bigger or its slightly smaller but it seems to fit just right! I don't think I'd ever be brave enough to alter them myself, thankfully I have a good collection to rotate for different activities to suit xx
A Rachel for a Rachael. And i have to say, you look incredible in this. I think it was made for you! That color looks so good on you, I like the loose waves. So lovely. I wish I could do blonde. It’s funny how the color changes skin tone and eye color. Your eyes really pop in this one.
I love this wig! Beautiful! Is it a low density wig? I have the zara wig and she's extremely thick..love it but its a lot of hair and its too poofy for me
At the moment I would say Rachel is my favourite but I haven't worn Sarah yet - she was holiday hair and that's out the window now! In terms of curls they are very similar and the only difference really is the length. For me Rachel's length is easier to maintain and she has lasted so long! She is due a steam but i still wear her now and she is over 18 months old. Both are very curly when first bought but I love Rachel more a few weeks later when they drop out a bit. I also prefer this colour so I don't think I will love Sarah as much but I could be wrong! Hopefully once lockdown is over I will have a reason to get Sarah out rather than wasting her stuck indoors!xx

Hi Ruth, She has held up amazingly!! She is about 18 months old and I still wear her! I have steamed her a couple times in the last few months and does need it again but she is still wearable 😊 She is my absolute fave wig and I will definitely get another ❤ I'd say I now only wear her on the odd occasion but atleast once a week but for well over a year she was my main go to wig!xx
Hiya, I do not use anything to secure this wig as I am completely happy that it isn't going anywhere! I know some people do use got2b glued to add more security xx
Beautiful wig, but I hate rooted wigs. Just can’t wear them. Not to insult anyone because it’s just my opinion, but rooted wigs look so tacky and cheap.
Everyone's entitled to their own opinion x I agree sometimes especially if the root is super dark and shiny! Jon Renaus rooted colours are spot on though ❤xx
