Paul, thanks for doing these videos. Can you tell us what the main differences are between the Deluxe, Pro and Platinum versions are -- what justifies the difference in price for the different versions. I mostly do 2D work but I also need 3D...
I have to disagree with "essential". They are a cumbersome workaround for years of bad ACAD programming. Add to the mix inefficient use of math data. A well constructed math model alongside an intuitive drafting package would allow for throughput of a minimum of 50% faster execution. There should never be a requirement to put dimensions on the data. Viewports that are limited by not allowing the dimensions on the draft to be consistent? DUMB. I am currently fighting these limitations in my 30 day trial of 2017 Plat Pro.
I'm still using v.10 happily but I have to reset to metric every time I open a drawing. I am sure there is a way to have it open in metric but cannot find it. Please help
@@donauchinvole8404 I am not sure about v.10, but when I was using 8 I created my own template. This contained all of my preferences. Background color, unit precision, Parallel projection etc. But first, before you create that, the next time you open SU, at the start up panel try looking through the template selections.
That was Easy! I have been grappling with layers for several weeks, and could not understand much about them. Thank you! You are an excellent teacher!
Very clear and well presented.
Hey .. will you show me how to make bolts and tapped holes in a solid. On Turbocad delux. 2017
Thanks
Thank you Tracey. As usual, a very insightful and useful video.
