I never cry because of music, this is literally a youtube short and I've never heard of Yebba or this song before, but It was pretty hard not to start crying while listening to this, the whole thing is amazing.

Whoa. One of my pet peeves with modern pop music in general is the overuse of throat as the exclusive resonance pocket. Like, so many singers seem like they learned to hold a pitch but never explored any of the other resonance pockets. This is my introduction to YEBBA and buckets, her transitions between them is breathtaking. The breathy, throat based resonance has so much more impact when it’s used as a musical device, not as a crutch because you don’t know how to use the rest. This is flawless.
This song is so humbling in its original recording. You managed to add even more divinity and prayer vibe to it. What a good well trained voice and the fact that you don’t force your higher nor you lower registers is really appreciated. You use your voice in service of the music and its universal purpose of connection and healing. Thank you
