He came in and almost won the WSL in his first season. With his fast-paced game but with control through possession. The fall at Arsenal started with the loss of Rafaelle imo. This coupled with the fact that throughout his tenure at Arsenal, what I would call the creative anchors (the more technical players of the team) kept getting ACL injuries. Williamson, Pelova, Miedema, Mead, Walti etc. I remember catching a San Diego game where they lost to Gotham thanks to a last minute winner. The key thing I got from the game was Naomi Girma. If the club is truly ambitious they should hold onto her because she is the perfect player Jonas can build around.
His style is perfect for NWSL. In the WSL he won almost every game where teams were willing to attack Arsenal. He struggled breaking down sides that park the bus and play for one chance on the break. He's far more like Jurgen Klopp than Pep Guardiola. I also think he'll try and take Stina Blackstenius from Arsenal. Since Morgan retired they're missing a focal point up front. She's very much 2nd choice behind Alessia Russo and her style, playing on the shoulder, suits a transitional league like the NWSL better than the WSL
@@Daveportime Hé surely has some serious problems, mental especially. Antd with low blocks, yep. And with not forging a team out of a bunch of very talented and top tier players. To be short: EideFall s*cks.
please watch the video where EideFall literally shoved Viv Miedema aside, when she was ready to be subbed in (but Eidefall apparently changed his mind)... Is this SD want for a coach???

This can't only be on the coach. The wave sucked last year and yes coaches get fired but alot of fault also lies on the players. They gota show up and prove themselves to the new management. Any new coach will come in an shake the tree and demand better performance from the players and see who buys in to all the new systems there's no way things will be the same as before and this goes for all the teams that are getting new management. Plus these are his players he will slowly add and remove those that aren't good enough for the team. It's a process for any new coach a very delicate one to start of but all new coaches should be given enough rope to implement and have a deadline as to when the team has to go back to the top.
thoughts and prayers to San Diego🕯️😌

He has serious problems with low blocks, so his goal conversion is also a little low and I believe that in the NWSL he won't have this problem.

that was overblown.
He didn't "shove" her at all. That's utter nonsense.
@ go watch the video again, and take notice of Vic's reaction too. ( What are you, the same type of white male chauvinist?? )

Jonas had world class players from Australia England USA Spain Sweden Switzerland and underperformed. And never took responsibility for what he did
