Hey, Kim, you were not negative, just honest. It's what we love about you! Thank you so much for posting. I can't tell you how much I look forward to your posts. You are always like a breath of fresh air!💜🧚♀️💜
I too agree with your review. I have purchased two kits from her. One of them has so much confetti that you will have to have several drill trays out at a time in order to get anything done. Every other drill is a different color. The other one I purchased because I saw an unboxing on UA-cam and loved it. But, when I received mine it was rendered completely different and I was so disappointed. I spoke to Pam she ended up replacing some drills for me but I am still so disappointed in this canvas. They are so very expensive to purchase something that is not what you thought it was going to be. She did say that different printers print them different ways. My thing is if you are going to sell a painting it should be the same across the board.
Hi Tina. Thanks so much for your comment, and for sharing your experience with me. Yeah, unfortunately the level of confetti in Pam's kits does seem to be excessive, and I know that it puts people off ordering. I really feel that stores need to discuss this aspect with their manufacturers to see if something can be done about it. Most people, including myself, don't mind sections of confetti but it shouldn't be overboard. It should always be a reasonable amount or else working on the canvass can become a strain. ❤️
I completely agree with all that you said. I finished my first PAM painting yesterday - Three Wishes by Jasmine Becket-Grffith and by the end I was getting really pissed with the amount of confetti. Im one that normally loves confetti and look for confetti painting but this was beyond excessive and it did create an image that could of been much better with less confetti. The popping happens to me as well in the square. Everyday, I have to go on push them back down which like you said is bizarre cause the glue did seems very good touching it and when applying the drills. I was unaware when I ordered that these were acrylic drills and was not happy for the price I paid that I got acrylic but I had very little trash and didn’t run out of any drills. The print on canvas was excellent EXCEPT if you use a lightboard then the symbols were not legible anymore?? I still have the large Wednesday dp to do and was going to buy a bunch more but after finishing my first one I will also hold off only because of the amount of confetti…I like I said I am one that normally loves confettit and looks for confetti painting. I took a closer look at the Wednesday dp and it looks the same..very confetti heavy…oh boy :(
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and tour experiences with me! Yeah, the confetti is off the charts and even for a confetti lover like you, it going to be extreme. As mentioned in my video, I also plan on stopping my ordering from this store because the confetti is too heavy for me, and because of the large number in my stash. They will take me years and years to get through because they go very slowly. It's a pity because I absolutely adore the images that PAM has in her store. ❤
And this is why I haven't purchased one of the Lizzy Falcon kits, even though I love her art. I purchased the Enid & Wednesday kit last year, and the amount of confetti is insane. To the point where I decided I will change the stained glass background to crystal drills in a lot less colours. I love confetti, and in my experience the kits with more confetti showed the details better. But there is such a thing as too much confetti, and this is it.
Hey Somé. I totally agree. I'm someone who doesn't mind confetti, and it has definitely grown on me over the last year, however, like you say, there definitely is such a thing as too much confetti. And that's the experience that I had with this kit. Hugs. ❤️
Thanks so much for your kind words Denise. I'm really happy to hear that most people enjoy the honest reviews. I always try to be respectful to the store while also being honest. Sending hugs. ❤️
Kim, you mentioned in your video that this store would be in your top 6 stores to buy from. Curious as to the names of your top six stores to buy from. I know Diamond Art Club and Evermoment. I also love Evermoment Diamond paintings. I think the quality of their kits makes them my favorite store. They are always enjoyable to work on
Hi Sharon. Yeah, Diamond Art Club and Ever Moment are my top 2 favorites, but there are a few other stores that I really enjoy as well, being The One With the Diamond Art, Dreamer Designs (although their squares are sometimes a bit gappy). Also PAM Diamond Paintings (as mentioned in this video). I have a number of kits from Munimade and although I haven't worked on any yet, I have a feeling that they are going to become a favorite, because their quality is good and they do hand rendering. Just a pity that those kits are so expensive! ❤
Thanks for another honest constructive review. I agree with you regarding unnecessary confetti and I think this image was a little pixilated. As you know I have an issue with the costs of shipping and duties that are added to an already expensive canvas so I have not tried this company and based on the whole package I am in no hurry. I'm glad that you were able to complete the image and I will be interested to see how long it is before you kit up another one from this company. Cheers
Hi Nance. Yeah, I plan on taking a little break and not kitting up anything further right now. I will work on more kits from this store this year, but right now, I need to avoid another one because of the confetti. ❤
I love confetti, but I’m a tad weird. I’m working on a PAM canvas by Lizzie Falcon, it’s the insane 240x80cm huge one and it’s mostly confetti….and I single place with tweezers so I’m gonna be at this awhile LOL. I enjoy the artwork places like TOWTDA and PAM carry that I’m 99% sure would never make it through the voting process DAC uses to choose art.
Wow, that's an absolutely huge size! I'm very impressed. I don't think I could ever work on a canvass that size, so huge points to you for embarking on that. 😉. As for the images that those two companies release, I totally agree with what you've said. I love the images that they have, and yes definitely not stuff that DAC would release, and so it's great to have the option to buy those sorts of images. ❤️
I agree with you on the confetti and over-pixelation. I had another problem with a kit. I had purchased from her store a couple of times and I had to throw one away because of dozens and dozens of popping drills. It was a square crystal and the grid was too tight. Crystal drills are a smidge bigger than regular square drills, I think. I didn't complain so I need to give credit there. If I had, I am sure she would have made good. I couldn't rectify the drill problem myself, so I just gave up. I hardly ever do that. I just chalked it up to being a crystal painting. The other painting I haven't completed yet, but looking very forward to it. Your painting looks amazing and pulls together perfect when you pulled it back and we could see it from a distance. Excellent job! She looks very good.
Thanks so much for your comment and for sharing your experience. Yeah, crystal drill kits are not my thing either. I tried one once and gave up halfway because I didn't like the effect of the crystals. It was from a different store. Anyway, like you say, I'm sure that Pam would have made it right if you contacted her because she does have good customer service. I still have a lot of kits to work on from her, and I'm looking forward to doing them. ❤️
Thank you for this informative video. Your review is so accurate with my experience with one of Pams kits. The glue is slippery and not a s strong. Popping drills and lots of confetti. But I do love the image and I really like Pams customer service. She is so sweet. I sealed the kit after I was done. I also purchased quite a few kits from her and I cannot wait to work on all of them.
Thanks so much for your kind words and for supporting the style of my reviews. It's important to me to be honest while still staying respectful to the store and the owner. And yes Pam is lovely and her customer service is amazing. I love dealing with her. I also love the images that she releases and once I'm finished with my extra large stash, I'll definitely be ordering some more. I just wish the confetti could be less. 😂
Thank you so much for your honest review. I agree with your constructive feedback. Personally, I think the rendering really needs to be tweaked. It looks way too pixelated and not sure why the manufacturer isn’t cleaning up the images even a little bit. I love confetti as long as there is a purpose and not sure it made this image look better.
Thanks so much for your comment and for supporting the style of my reviews. Yeah, the confetti is a definite issue for me, and I feel that it should be dealt with and improved upon. I'm sure the manufacturer could do something about it if they were engaged about it, but it would take some active involvement from PAM, and I'm not sure that that is actually happening. ❤️
It's a great image, but I honestly think it looks untidy. The whole time my eyes were drawn to the pixelated blue on the right-hand side, which I'm assuming is the window. Also, what's the white strip on the upper right-hand side? It's a shame as the artwork itself is fantastic and unique, but I highly doubt that this is what the artist had in mind for people to see.
Thank you for your very honest review. I love that you don’t hold back and you give all positives and negatives and yet do so without being disrespectful of the shop. I have 2 of these princess from Pam and I’m a little nervous about doing them. I love TOWTDA confetti, one of my favourite small companies, but these Pam ones are a whole new level. Your finish looks great in the camera, though!
Thanks so much for your kind words, and for supporting the style of my reviews. I always try to stay respectful of the store, while also being honest. That's important to me. As for TOWTDA, yes, I love that store as well! Both TOWTDA and PAM have images that I adore, and that you won't find being released by other companies. I just wish the confetti could be brought under control because it is a little too hectic for me, from both stores, but especially from P.A.M. ❤️
Love your honesty as always Kim 🤗🩷 for me personally, I will only really go for hand rendered artwork, as the confetti is much less, & it's not unnecessary. I did a 110x150cm custom computer rendered image with 100 colours, & oh my gosh, I wanted to pull my hair out 😂 keep up with the amazing work you do Kim, always look forward to your videos 🥰🩷
Hey Jemma. Thanks so much for that lovely comment. And I totally agree with you about hand charting. It definitely leads to much less confetti. Some of the computer rendered canvasses that I have in my stash are totally bonkers when it comes to confetti! It does definitely give me pause. ❤️
Yeah, I totally hear you. And I feel the same. There are so many there that I'd love to get, but I'm not adding to my stash any further because of the confetti. ♥️
Working on a Pam canvas right now and it’s a stained glass humming bird image. The drills won’t stay down, but I think on mine it’s the uneven sizes of the square acrylic drills, not the glue. So many drills have tabs on the sides and I think they are the issue. I also thought it was resin for the price it was. I don’t want to say anything negative in my post review on my channel, but I also have to be honest. Luckily mine doesn’t seem as confetti heavy due to the image, but there is probably some unnecessary confetti. I’ve been loving Calming Canvas Designs, and they use EverMoment drills.
Thanks for sharing your experiences. I always find it interesting to hear what others have to say about a specific stores. And yes, Ever Moment drills are great! ❤️
Hi Kim another great video and and thank you so much for being honest and I do agree with you about everything you said about the canvas I am still on the one with the diamond art and that's taking me forever the drills are not the best I hope that I will have plenty of drills to finish the picture but at the same time I am really injoying it ❤
Hi Trace. Thanks so much for your continued support, and for enjoying my videos. I plan on kitting up my next one from TOWTDA shortly, and I'm looking forward to getting to it. I'm glad to hear that you're enjoying it. ❤️
I'll try and add them to my list. I don't have any canvasses from them unfortunately, and I'm trying to cut down on my buying in 2024, but you never know. 😁
And thanks for watching! I would definitely suggest that you give them a try to see what you think. Pam has an amazing range of images. All I suggest is that you wait for a decent sale, because she does offer them fairly often. ❤️
😂😂. Fair enough. It is, after all, a dark art piece and so I'm happy to hear that her face is creepy. It that case, the artist did a good job. 😂. Hugs. ❤️
Great video Pam !!! I love the image but wouldn't touch that DP with this kind of pixelated rendering. This is a nightmare for my brain & eyes. Lots of Ali X companies have this type of rendering at a much lower price. Whether people agree with you or not about your review, they can't deny the fact that it is pixelated, end of story. Have a great day 😊
Hey Trish. As always, thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. And yeah, agreed. The image does look a tad pixelated to me as well. I think it may have to do with the fact that there was so much confetti. I'm not sure, but that's what I expect. Hugs.
Hey, Kim, you were not negative, just honest. It's what we love about you! Thank you so much for posting. I can't tell you how much I look forward to your posts. You are always like a breath of fresh air!💜🧚♀️💜

That level of confetti is bonkers!! Props to for getting through all that. 🩷💜🧡
😂. Agreed. It was bonkers. And I'm not going to lie, getting through that canvass took a serious amount of willpower 🤣
