Also, I have one of these inexpensive bidets that you can install on your toilet. Haven't given birth yet, but had plenty of lady issues and love it for cleaning. It shoots out cold water, and you can adjust the intensity of the spray. I use an all natural lady bits soaps in a pump bottle I buy on amazon, and it's a lifesaver.

Love all this prep! I wish I had done more before having my baby.. Im 16 days post partum and honestly my stitches from my tear was the HARDEST part of it all. The first week and a half was murder. I could hardly walk.. I tried a few of these thi gs for comfort and ended up getting a wound infection despite having regular baths etc twice a day. Padsicles and salt baths and bits spritz sprays etc the doctor said could have encouraged the infection, not sure how... But worth mentioning! Having a million pads and the pull up knickers were a life saver! Goodluck x

One of the things that the hospital gave me to take home (thankfully) that was my LIFELINE for those first couple weeks after having my son was called a waffle cushion. It’s an inflatable cushion that you sit on with holes in it to keep you from having to sit directly on your lady parts when you have stitches and such. They recommend those more than the donut pillows because sometimes the donut pillows can create some extra pressure down there where everything sits in the one hole. It was SO helpful for me because I did have stitches and sitting was very hard. You can get them at Walgreens and places like that! Hope this helps!! Good luck on the birth of your sweet baby girl! 💕

Sitting in shallow water is very comfortable. I ended up taking my first sitz bath at 5 days pp. I was not sitting in a pool of blood. It totally relieves the pain. Also, I pat dry the area gently. At 4-5 weeks pp, I transitioned to Always pads (that I used for periods).

You should definitely look into Lacti-cups! They collect your leaking milk and protect your sore, burning nipples from rubbing up against anything. You do have to make sure to follow the time restrictions for leaving breastmilk out/in the fridge, but even if you have to dump it down the drain it's still worth the protection!

The Bellefit girdles are amazing! I had a velcro girdle for immediately post delivery and then used my Bellefit for several months as well. It provided wonderful core support and allowed me to wear more prepregnancy clothing sooner. After four babies, I’d say you are way prepared! The Earth Mama bottom spray is excellent as well as using depends. I never needed to use frozen pads at home. My midwife had some special ice packs I used post delivery while at the birth center. One thing I didn’t anticipate with my first baby was the after birth contractions as the uterus is shrinking back to its original size. Having some pain reliever and a heating pad on hand is helpful. 😊

I'm having my third baby next week and can say from experience you seem very prepared for post partum! I've only ever had C-sections so my sorest area is always my belly incision, and I wouldn't use a lot of the stuff you got (the girdle gave me shivers thinking about putting it on over an incision) but I hope all of it helps for your vaginal birth! Tons of adult diapers are a must have no matter which way baby arrives. Best of luck for a smooth delivery 😊

I do agree that having some breast pads and cream in the bathroom would be a good idea. I felt like I went through an insane amount of breast pads after my daughter was born, so changing them every time I went to the bathroom (which still felt like a lot) was nice. Flushable wipes aren't always really flushable! So be cautious with that. Plus some of them have chemicals that seriously irritate when the lady bits are tender. I think its awesome you plan to do freezer meals after! If you do any home meal delivery kits that might come in really handy at around the two or three week mark, when you're still tired but hungry as heck and want something quick. Great video! Can't wait to see baby girl and hear what her sweet name is.

I just made some of these pads too because I am due in 5 weeks! I’m not sure how true it is, but I read where you want to put a piece of foil down on the pad after you put your aloe, witch hazel and essential oils on...when you roll it up it’s supposed to help the pad not stick together when it freezes? I’m not sure if the aloe would actually cause the pad to stick together though?

Collace forces bowel movements and is uncomfortable to feel. I use smoothie move tea, it is natural tea with a natural stimulate.

Angela Williams implants suck wish you the best I lost 3 babies the implant doesn't stop you from getting pregnant it can even have you keep a baby for months in your womb growing I was three months along before it forced an miscarriage I hadn't even known until I delivered the tiny fetus. I got the implant taken out a week later used other birth control and when we were ready we tried and lost 2 more each of them had the same chemical the implant did. we finally got our daughter almost a year later.

PSA your doctor cannot tell you no. That’s a malpractice suit if I’ve ever heard of one. It’s your body. If you want it out and there’s no medical reason not to remove it they have to take it out.

random chicks music my implant kept me from getting pregnant but I bled almost constantly for the 5 months I had it in. I told my doc I wasn’t gonna deal with it anymore so she had no problem taking it out. Currently pregnant with my first! So sorry about your losses but happy you got your rainbow baby ❤️

Hi there! So it has now been a couple of years since I made this video and I have had both babies now. I found that I didn't really need the pads! 😊 I ended up using the "Always" adult diapers with tucks pads and the spray that they gave me at the hospital. Hope that helps!

So I know a lot of people tell horror stories.. but after I had my daughter I didn't need an ice pack or anything like that.. I took motrin while in the hospital and colace for a week or so after.. and I only bled for about 2 and a half weeks after

@@JessicaElle I don't know what I would of done if I had a horrible postpartum.. I had all day sickness until 32 weeks lost a lot of weight.. I don't want another child because of how bad my pregnancy was.. and my labour was really long because I was induced... my best advice for you, would be wait as long as you can before getting induced..

Lucky. My recovery was a nightmare. Literally took 8 months before I wasn't in constant pain down there 😢 makes me scared to ever have another baby again.

Instead of using wet wipes, take a clean, sterile spray bottle, add cooled boiled water, add a little witch hazel (you can add a little alcohol-free aloe if you have it). Use this to spray onto your toilet paper. This will keep you fresh, it’s gentle in your “bits”, and it’s flushable.
