Im imagining Jake torpedoing small logs at Issac 😂😂😂 Issac scrambling for cover 😂😂
Root beer plus mountain dew! Dang, you guys are Speedballing now!
Next time try a Monster with a Jolt chaser! 🤣
My phobia of heights keeps me from experiencing things like this but these videos allow me to live vicariously through them.
It’s not your fear of heights it’s your fear of falling from that certain height
I am a tree climber I've been cutting trees for 22 years I started when I was 18 I'm 41 now I was terrified of heights now I can do the biggest of biggest trees no problem at all number one I had to learn to trust my gear number two I had to learn to do what I am doing is Right meaning when I'm rigging something when I'm tying into a certain piece all this came with time many many years of practice of guys who've been doing it for umpteen years teaching me the right way my fear of heights is completely gone now God bless I hope you overcome this it's not easy but it can be done
But I do have fear of something happening which is good when you have no fear at all you're going to make a mistake I hope that helps fear is healthy I believe
Once you accept that a fall from 100’ is going to kill you the same as 30 feet it’s all good.
@@Darlhim89 pretty much yeah just like driving in a vehicle
Fishing? Do it Jake, it’s one of the most relaxing sports especially for a guy like you who needs to relax once in a while. You work hard. Plus fish are great to eat.
Every time you attach a GoPro to the branch I feel like I'm on a carnival ride
Grew up on a farm cutting wood for maintenance and for winter heat. Was taught a lot of good stuff, but watching Jake and a few other YTs has shown me a lot of stuff and has made me better. I even did a bit of climbing in my early 20s and I am so jealous of how easy it is to learn now with so many resources. Nice to be entertained as well.
Good job guys. I live on highway 410, Good to see you guys in Naches. Blessings to all of you.
YAY! Caleb! Always a pleasure so see him!
jake makeing issac think that "back when I was young, we had to catch the entire tree" and then carry it home.. Lmaf!
I miss randys interaction with you and the banter but Issac is getting there, nice to hear a young lad with a sense of humour, plus you are way too nice to an apprentice, you said well done at the end, shame on you. ALWAYS keep apprentices on edge, it makes them aware………..😂.
Good job man, loving all your videos.
Great camera work Jacob, appreciate your time and effort. Awesome humbolt ... Anton taught you well.
That’s one big tree, great job bringing it down.
Great job Jake!
Pop's here. Those look like one great lumber logs I'm sure someone would love to have them.
awesome video. You & BSTS make a great team. great to see you enjoying yourself
Black Sheep Tree service is awesome. Great video. I look forward to seeing more of your content.
Yeah they are great!
i am sittin in tn having a wiskey and water watching , and you guys are great love the comatary, yor worth every penny you are paid .👍👍👍⛈
That was fun.
Nice work
It was awesome having you out! Thanks for the hard work.
Thanks Ole! We had a great time!
It is so satisfying to see that big saw rip in that big wood
This has become one of my favorite channels to follow.
Sadly I have learned to face the reality of my age so it's nice to hear some, 'Back in my day' stories.
Just started my tree service. I was like you im not gonna own a tree service yet here i am lol love youre videos
My extreme fear of heights makes me dizzy nauseous and sweaty watching when you go high up. My heart pounds and palms sweat and only when you are coming down does my tummy knot relax. I am old and watch in awe your courage and fitness. Why i watch? I dont know - crazy 😂 I love the sounds.
Great Vid. Really limby pine. Enjoyed the great camera work with branch mounted cameras. Entire crew works well together. Stay safe!
Nice river too. It's good to see the surrounding areas.
workin' workin' workin' he's always workin'
Great view from up there
Hey, just wanted to thank you, after watching your videos on chainsaw safety and tree removal I finally got over my anxiety of working with them and now I find it quite relaxing and good workout to help my father to clear out the small forest property he owns.
i love the notch swinger
Lots of HARD work. More power to ya. Go fishin" It's good for the inner self. Love the chipper, it's kinda hypnotic. Look at the river! Don't tell me you aren't going fishing!
Nice video. Good to know some people from the old place still stay in touch. Good video.
Thanks 👍
Jake, Caleb is a wise man... the worst day fishing is still better than the best day working! 😂👍🇦🇺
neat co dominate pine, interesting type to take down safely! the chunks were something to watch
fall flat on the ground. reunions are always nice with friends you worked with for a time.
I love those Husq 394 and 395 saws, and really like to run 32" bars on them. They really hold up well and love to be run wide open with a good skip chain.
Dude you’re a beast. Appreciate the work and vids man!
I appreciate that!
@@GuiltyofTreeson For sure bro. One tradesman to another. Love to see good work! Electrician here.
i have the swinger and love it. i think i have just learned to unclip in a straight motion
Ponderosa are such cool trees
Enjoyed the video. Very nice climbing, limbing & speedlining. That was a TALL Ponderosa for sure. But, you made short work of it boys. The 395xp worked like a charm cutting through that sucker.....nice, Jacob.
Thanks so much!
Working in the ol nacho nice
I like their process on that one! Tractor forwarding material to the mini ex feeding the chipper. Looked like a fun day, great job gents!
Yeah it worked pretty well 👍
Mountain Dew-beer, the breakfast of champions.
Pop's here. That little electric saw is very impressive.. How long of a battery life does it have, battery size and brand. Really is impressive.
When you fell a big tree I am always curious about how old the tree is. I try to pause the video and count the rings but most of the time not all of the rings are in frame. We have a lot of massive black(?) oak here in SoCal. I would like to be able to guess their age based on the ring counts in your videos. At the end of your videos can you provide one frame of a top down view of the entire stump? Just thought I’d ask.
Great idea! I’ll start doing that!
Thank you so much, sir!!!
About 145 rings from my count when he drops the log at 47:40
You are master of your craft.
Thank you 😊
I still drop branches on my 22 year old ground guys, old ways are the best ways
😂 totally!
I used the stihl battery saw for around a year now, me and the other climber at the company just hated it so much. We switched to the husky ones a few monthes ago and we just like them so much better. The 542 is such a gamechanger! Great video as always
We actually had to catch these. Lol.
36:00 when I saw your climb line going up while you started that back cut I was a bit worried.
Same here, got scared for a second 😅
Lots of technical chit-chat…means zero to me, but the action is exciting!
So many camera angles!
22:45 "I got every device" - Jake is like Nikki "She took me to her castle, and I couldn't believe my eyes. She had so many devices, everything that money could buy." Imagine if Darling Nikki had been able to order from Sappy Supplies though...
I was working (soffit repair) at a customer's house and they have a tri-dominant white oak in their backyard!
And I can hear my "Jake voice" in my head saying what a mess that tree removal will be! 🤣
Great teamwork guys. A job well done.👍🦘
Very nice job! Thank you for your opinion on the Notch Swinger. Guess I'll stick with the DMM Mega Vault.
Had a clip from exotica. Was great captured but easy.
Once again a nice video with cool guys and isaac but man that husky I only have a 254xp very good allrounder and a few smaller ones
Thanks for this vid.. almost bought one of them notch chainsaw holders glad I didn't now 😮
9:35 resting the chainsaw on ur only rope is dope trust in ur tools xD
Really enjoy you enthusiasm and work ethic--
We live in Edmonds and have a group of small cedars--maybe Junipers--50'+ tall and ~~ 12+"s in diam.--that are covered with ivy and and most are dead. Do you travel this far North with you bucket truck?? Was hoping to have the tops knocked off and a neighbor has a bandsaw mill and wants the non punky logs. I can haul out the leftovers so no chipping or hauling, Not quite as sexy for UA-cam but showing how ivy can take over and destroy trees could be interesting for your i billion followers. Thanks for the great videos, Pleas let me know if interested.
Nice job is the the Yakima river.
ありがとうございます
so wonderful beautiful video my best friend i love it see so nice
I'm a big fan of the Shembiner
Tractors great. Avants a game changer' haha hear that alot but it is!
Tube salad rules!
🌲
I think I can speak for everyone when I say "we need more caleb".
In my town there 6 Ponderosa pines that average 150 feet tall and can't be cut down due to their location and they are protected by US Forestry as protected trees - their over 100 years old
Is that rare in your parts?
Mother Nature: What wind speed can they withstand? I'll test next storm.
Jake at 15:05 when that branch landed on your rope, is that the only rope holding you from falling to the ground? Or is there another safety line that i just can't see? Im glad that limb wasn't a 2 or 3 hundred pounder.
"He's a county over" I thought you meant how far apart the other stem was as you both climbed!
Nice to see Caleb again. What kind of chest strap does he use for the Sequoia?
Luar biasa skill memanjat nya
Ive used all kinds of different epuipment for moveing brush and my 39 hp mahindra tractor with a grapple is the most efficient and the easiest on yards
Gonna brush this tree out
Gonna chip it fine
Gonna use a square-ground chain
'Cause the wood is pine! (Ponderosa pine, oo-oooh)
--With a hat tip to The Simpsons
Anh cưa cây to rất khéo .máy cưa xích rất nhỏ gọn để cắt cành cây .Em rất thích công việc này 👍
Looks like those ponderosa pines hinge a lot like our pines over here in the southeastern part of the country do
my boss has a sthil electric top handle and he seems to like it, i haven’t heard anything bad about them except the oiler breaking
I got a lot of relatives in Wenatchee
Do you guys have safety briefings before you work? I'd imagine it'd be more important working with two crews like this. If so, it'd be interesting to hear your briefs
Jake,
Pretty soon your going to need oxygen while
up those trees:)
Cheers,
Rik Spector
💥💥🍻🍔🐿️
I have the exact same issue with my notch swingers. Kinda sketch if you are holding a branch & can't clip your saw with only 1 hand. Ended up taping mine open
You should let notch know about that Swinger complaint
Did you count the rings to see how old the tree is?
do you have just a muffler mod on the 395?
I wasn't impressed by notchs' new line of stuff. Their new pop box was a flop, the guy talked it up at the expo and 4 tries and it never popped open. Plus the price for the thing was ridiculous, I could get 4 cubes for the price
Wow 8 minutes ago
Q: in video taping with multiple cameras simultaneously, they are sync'd to an internal time code, which allows multiple streams to be played back simultaneously, facilitating grabbing snippets from multiple cameras with pinpoint accuracy. This eliminates the seesawing effect of individual streams trying to locate exact spots for different views of the same object. Does GoPro support that feature of internal time codes among multiple cameras on the same project for exact sync ... ?
Smoked trought yer bro'
speedline to nowhere... genius!
Hoosk varna, Swedish company, they pronounce it differently than most people.
I need a value setup of climbing gear. So badly want to try climbing but I I'm only a hobbyist so can't justify the big boy stuff. Any suggestions?
You can make the newer cardo and senna hook together it's not easy to do unfortunately.
Why do you strap some branches that you cut but other ones you just let fall?
I don't remember Ponderosa on the East side of the Cascades ever having rot in the heart, but it has been over half a century so I may be misremembering.
Caleb could be a double for Nacho from Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul.
When Jake started doing tree work they didn't have chainsaws or rope hell they didn't even have trees
Real beefy pine no taper'
so I kinda feel bad, you did so much work. I pictured the 2 of you sharing the load. Seems like other climber came up for a couple cuts and without spurs. Odd to me. nice climbing tho.
