My favorite song, it brings me tears and comfort, I just lost my sweet handsome husband on June 22, 2020 from a massive stroke. Everyone thought I would go first (deadly rare Cancer, long Coma from the treatment, Esinephil Asthma and 2 lung Disease's caused by the Ventilator, etc..) But God called him first. More than the performance of this great hymnal, is the message it reveals. Every child of God is lead by His Spirit. No exceptions! Paul writes in Romans 8, "as many as are lead by the Spirit are the sons of God". Impossible to not be lead as a child of His. The more we become aware of the Spirit leading us every moment in life, the more we glorify Him and depend upon him in a walk of faith. Even when I rebel and resist the Spirit, He will not let me go away and disown Him. Like He did with Peter, He will come to me in time at the shore of my wanderings and call me to the warm fire and fish He has prepared for us to dine together and be reconciled. Looking back I will say, "He leadeth Me!"
