Yeah especially when I went on the comet it was bigger than on the POV
Go to top thrill dragster for the extreme intensity
Same with full throttle
No joke
Nah it was slow

😂
Hahahahahahaha trueeee
It is NOT David. It is actually an African-American named K.D. Bowe. There's no way that voice sounds like Shadow.
landonr323 🤪
That guy at the end though
"WOAH! THAT WAS *FAST!*"
GetScaredGaming666 it's not even that fast compared to the other ones i have been on
He looks like a UA-camr.
woah that snail is fast
I peeped that too 😂😂
@@gustavoherrera2532 lol u probaly never been in a coaster fortnite player...
Everybody gangsta until the announcement says "hErE wE gO"
OMG GOODBYE 😂😂😂

😂😂😂😂💯
Fun fact, I used to live in Mechanicsburg, PA, about 20 minutes from Hershey, I've been on all the rides at Hersheypark and stuff
Yep.
This is probably one of the few roller coasters I've ridden in which my reaction upon hitting the final brake run is "No, don't stop now. I wanted more of this roller coaster."
Full throttle?
@@cycloid2326 I've never been to Six Flags Magic Mountain.
andysee that is why it left me under whelmed
my friend almost died on this tragically, look it up his name was Nic Denoto and he was 9 years old!
One word. Velocicoaster
One of the funnest launch coasters I've ever ridden.
One of the stupidest spellers I've ever seen. And don't even say stupidest isn't a word, it's a superlative.
FACTS SAME LOL
You know you made a huge mistake when you hear, "hear we go"
Edit: LMAO i made this comment two years ago. I'm a coaster enthusiast now.
God as soon as i heard that i screamed "GET ME OFF THIS RIDE" But i l i k e d it
Not Only The Start Of The Ride

It’s here
This rollercoaster pretty much describes this school year for me.
lemonmania96 lol huge high point then ups and down me too
lemonmania96 me to
lemonmania96 Short??
And me screaming all the way
OH MY GOD THIS IS MY FAVORITE COMMENT ON THIS VIDEO
I'd say this is my favorite coaster i've ever ridden. I was walking back and forth through the park hesitating but I ended up going on it and I don't regret it. Right amiunt of everything.
0:38 NOW GET READY HERE WE GO
I got on this at night not knowing the layout. I've been on over 150 rollercoasters and this is a ride I'll never forget. That first hill my God, Wow
I've been on 143 coasters myself and I wasn't super impressed with Storm Runner. The brakes/trims at the end of the launch were disappointing and it''s too short and none of the elements pop with the janky track profiling. What is so exceptional about it?
@@spankyspork5808 Pretty much everything about it fantastic
Don't get too ahead of yourself! First of two hills ;)
The "Are you ready, here we go" is scary because the coaster launches at the words "we go"!
It say “Now get ready, here we go!” Pewnnnn! 😂
When I went on, you heard “now get ready, here we go!” But it didn’t go, they let the heart beat play for like 10 more seconds before launching us.
Ooo suspense lol
facepalm
IT IS NOT THAT UNATTRACTIVE WHITE GUY
*IT IS A BLACK GUY; A KHARY PAYTON WANNABE*
If it had multiple trains on the track, the block section ahead might had not cleared, so it had to wait before launching, or the launch system was not fully pressurized, so it had to wait.
I stg while it was down for a bit around a year ago the launch was a bit delayed after the voice lol
@@Aerospace_Gaming The brake run on storm runner doesn't do much, the dual stations are the blocks. Only two trains on stormie.
All the RCT3 kids have heard of this.
yep all about that rct life
+Jesus "Soos" Ramirez Yeah, the coaster that gives you a 10-20 intensity rating even when it's just a loop.
Jesus "Soos" Ramirez yep
I was looking for your comment somewhere. I'm just binge watching coaster videos and then I can see the ride in my head and I see every inversion like it was in rct3 XD
Isnt This ride suppose to be blue
I guess this shows how it is supposed to work - according to HersheyAddict - when it now says "Get ready to go" there is about a 2 second delay - then it goes. This gives you the feeling of what it used to do before the repair, thanks!
This ride is just as crazy as it looks. I was afraid to ride it for years and when I finally did I cried from shock. 😂😂 Now it’s my favorite in the park.
1:20 that's exactly what I would say
LMAO
*W H O A T H A T W A S F A S T*
That’s what someone would say on the first coaster
I just find it funny whenever you see Stormrunner zoom past, and then below it Trailblazer just slowly creeps out.
Skyrush is the best coaster Ever haha that’s funny but also scary. Also love the username
SOMEONE SCREAMED “DONT DIE ON ME” BEFORE IT LAUNCHED 💀
My soul left my body when I rode this and I did not get it back until after the ride ended:)
Wes the sky-rush fanboy ! Skyrush doesn’t have the launch coaster effect, it’s not the same
If you think this was intense try xcelerator at Knotts
This POV is probably the most accurate representation of what it's like to ride this roller coaster. Great job, you guys.
I was always afraid of this ride, but yesterday I rode it and it was amazingg!(:
Same! Once I reached the top I wasn't scared anymore!
@@elizabethtpnoc3884 same

A few years ago we managed to be at Hershey Park when it was practically empty, we rode Storm Runner 4-5 times with no wait, although they made us get off and walk around between each ride. The SuperDuperLooper operators were completely cool, I think my nephew rode 15 times in the same seat, my son and I stopped after 10. Oh, and the front row seats on Great Bear were great too.
I remember my first time going on this rollercoaster and when they were counting down I was screaming and crying for them to let me off, but they didn't.
What a sad time for my soul :)
glob was here! Lmaooooo me to don’t be ashamed

The difference between you and SharpProductions is the fact that he has the fucking balls to ride EVERY ride in this entire planet let alone in the fucking front seat holy shit.
*ride* “now get ready...”
*me* “I’m not ready”
PlayStation: You are not ready
This is most def one of my fav coasters of all times!! I rode this so much the last time I was there, I had bruise marks all over my shoulders from the restraints!
Def one of the best coasters on earth ! It's a combo of Intimidator and Kinda Ka from Great Adventures!!
Doesn’t this ride have soft restraints now?
But this ride opened in 2004, before Kingda Ka which didn’t open until the following year.
@@RYMAN1321
The restraints on this ride is 1,000 times better than the restraints on thigh Crusher, but I rode it so many times that day, I still have bruise marks.
Then again, I went with the roller coaster group so we got an hour before the park opened and rode This awesome coaster an hour straight, then stayed an hour after the park closed to ride SkyRush, where I lost my damn flip flops in the Susquehanna River.
@@ImehSmith Geez, how did you not get sick riding it I’d guess more than a few times? LOL
The most I can go on a coaster in a row in a day would be no more than twice
@@RYMAN1321
From the time they let you off the coaster and walk down the steps, back around, and go back up and get back in line is about 10 minutes between each ride
However I used to go hardcore and lollygag around the exit looking for any single rider or empty seat, then run and Jump into that seat before they close the gates off.
And the Ride Operators don't care because it's a vacancy going to waste anyway and they never have a single Rider line Q waiting to fill out empty seats so they don't complain.
I used to be very scared of roller coasters, and my auntie took me on the Scooby-Doo at Kings Dominion when I was 6 years old. After she rode with me the first time, I liked it so much I wrote it six more times in a row! she had to drag me away to get on another ride.
And as soon as I was tall enough, which seemingly took forever🙄🙄 , I was off to the races on roller coasters!!😉😉😎😎🎢
This is one of those rare coasters that is GREAT during the day...but, F'n AWESOME at night!
This was the best ride I’ve ever been on!
This is my favorite one I could ride that 100 times and it never get old... I love riding it at night because it makes you feel like your on a rocket ship
Man I had my hands up like a champ this whole ride!! Definitely a childhood memory I won’t forget!!
In this ride I flew out of my seat
Trap God Good! You experienced airtime! Its Great!
Airtime
What you experienced airtime, whoa I had no idea
Good floater airtime

This is literally my favorite roller coaster of all time.
Put your heads back kids, it’s too late if you hear “...here we go” lmao
Or "IT ALL STARTS WITH THIS" (IK it's not the same VA but I still remember when people thought it was)
@Wes the sky-rush fanboy ! lol I definitely did when it first opened and about 3 years ago again, I love it, it’s a close second but to me storm runner is just special for some reason :)
For me still the best roller coaster i have ever ridden. Smooth, fast, breathtaking, airtime... To my mind way too much underrated in all these coaster polls.
Honestly this shit mad fun, even though I had my eyes shut the whole time 💀💀
pro tip: never open your mouth in a smile to the camera on the storm runner. the G's press so hard against the back of your throat that it renders your muscles useless and they hurt. I learned the hard way... JUST AS WE WERE EATING FUNNEL CAKE!
famous quote: "the G's press so hard against the back of your throat" -that's what she said
ha..ha... protip
So your telling ME that at a funnel cake on the ride
@@a_cowwithlegs right, like you can't eat on rollercoasters...
Taking off before "Here We Go" is even done is awesome. Great ride. Hard to believe you are doing what you are doing when you are doing it.
I'll even admit I'm not the biggest roller coaster fan but I did this one a few years back and it was incredible
Operating these rides is the funnest thing, I love this job
I love this one . It’s scary at first but also REALLY fun coming from a tiny 10 year old
How tall are you?
I'm a 11 year old and that was my favorite roller coaster out of the three I got on I never ride them but I'm happy I did
I remember riding when I visited Hershey Park for my 10th birthday.
I 💟 Storm Runner.... you're up the 2nd Hill before you know what hit you!
I love fast start rides, I can't wait to go to Hershey Park soon
God I went here in middle school that was epic. My friends forced me on the ride, Hershey park honestly was a good trip for me.
Now get ready, here we go!
It should've also said, "in 3......2......1.......GO!".

TrainSounds AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!
"Colonel, why am I doing a voice for a Hersheypark ride?"
The fact that it shoots you out is so much fun. The peak is huge. You can see it from a great distance
In the short amount of time, that this ride gives, it's number one in excitement!
This ride's motto is literally.. you want airtime? I'll give you airtime! Rode it back in 2009 so it's been awhile. I recall not reall having my butt on the seat for the majority of the ride.
That was my favorite ride at Hershey Park.
@Wes the sky-rush fanboy ! I didn’t ride it. Next year
I was just at Hershey this past week. This coaster was SO much fun!! Awesome launch!
Ah, so it's basically Kingda Ka on crack...
pretty much
Midget kingda ka on crack
It's basically a slower mini version of Kingda Ka.
King da ka with inversions :)
Yeah but it’s better.
The takeoff is incredibly intense. I’ve only ridden it once and I screamed as loud as I possibly could during the first few seconds.
MY FAVORITE RIDE!
Seriously, this is easily the BEST FRIGGIN' COASTER at Hersheypark!
You go on Storm Runner then you see the monorail. xD
Omg i see what you mean wtf
This is my all time favorite ride because the lines seem long but go pretty fast and the ride is amazing!
Did anyone's have that feeling where your stomach feels like it is going into your throat?
Yep XD
w0t
Yessssss the going down a hill stomach feeling lol the very first time I rode it I felt it
I cant do coasters with straight drops like this one lol. I hate that feeling in my stomach. They have to curve. I can tolerate it much better. So I totally get u haha
Wes the sky-rush fanboy ! Nope the Fahrenheit actually has the best air time
You really feel like you're going hella fast on this thing, even if it doesn't look like it in footage. Awesome ride!
What is up with that funky-ass exit to the immelman? It actually looks fun, but it's just really weird how it weaves back and forth on the exit
That's not what he was talking about. The Immelman is what the loop after the first hill is called.
this ride has a cobra loop the only roller coaster to have that inversion according to rcdb
What a coaster!
I metaphorically shat myself on this coaster.
god i miss theme parks
This one was my favorite one when I went
Very underrated rollercoaster.
I feel like this ride would be 100 times better if at the start it went 3...2...1... Gotta Blast
totally agree
Lol that's how it was on jokers jinx
Why do I have a feeling that that's a jimmy nutron reference
LeRon NIPPER becauase it is
I went on that ride and i said that in my head then my mom asked why i was laughing and i said "....GoTtA bLaSt" and just took off
I'd just like to say this is 1080p60 back in 2012. That's nice.

I have ridden this roller coaster in Hershey park! It was so crazy and my brother was with me on the roller coaster!
I'm going tomorrow and I love storm runner
Same but five years later
I actually, believe it or not, almost died on this ride! The story is SO ridiculously unbelievable that I know most of you will probably think I'm lying, but I assure you, Every word is true!
I was going into 6th grade, hanging out at Hershey Park all day with my friend Nick, for like the 10th time that summer. We were getting into line for storm runner but it was really long. Randomly, while we were waiting in line, an older, almost elderly couple in front of us, changed their mind right before they boarded the ride and offered their second row seats to us. Naturally, of course we graciously accepted the offer and got to skip a huge chunk of line. This is where it gets interesting. The teenagers in the front row seats spoke to us as we were boarding, and one of them held out a dime and said they were gonna drop it off the top of storm runner, which my friend and I, being the idiots we were, replied, "GENIUS! That's a GREAT IDEA, it's going to be Freak'n AWESOME!!!" Not realizing just how much harm it could actually cause... The ride began just as you see here in the video, and we were screaming our heads off as we got launched down the track and up into the air! That's when, somewhere around the top, I kid you not, I closed my mouth at just the perfect timing to catch the dime IN MY TEETH!!! I mean what are the odds of you catching a small, spinning projectile at 70 mph, perfectly in your teeth? Must be a 1 in 100 million! Had I closed my mouth just a split second later, and the dime would have gotten lodged in my throat and I would of had to ride out the entire ride, choking to death of asphyxiation, not to mention the part in the end where you have to wait for the coaster in front of you to move before you can be brought into the station, and they can release the restraints, all that before someone can perform the heimlich maneuver on me! I could never do it again if I tried! Anyways, not long after I felt the grit of the metal, locked in my jaws, I knew exactly what miracle had just happened! And with my jaws clamped down on it as hard as I could, I looked at my buddy Nick and started screaming "I Caught the Dime, I CAUGHT THE DIME, pointing to my teeth in excitement!!!" He didn't understand me at first until he saw for himself that I had the dime, clasped down in my teeth at which he remarked, "OH MY GOD, You Caught the DIME!" And laughed in disbelief! I hung onto that dime for dear life, all the way to the end, not wanting it to slip and get lodged in my throat anyway! Once the ride was over, I pulled it from my mouth and me and Nick were bursting out in laughter, then we approached the teens in front of us who dropped it and I showed them the dime, excitedly exclaiming what had happened, which they had pretty much the same reaction as Nick! We all had a long hard disbelieving laugh, and we even pointed out a tiny little indent in Roosevelt's head that presumably was left by my teeth clamping down on it so hard! Nick and I then continued to ride rides all the way up until it got dark, and before we left, our final ride was Skyrush and we waited in line for front row seats! Guess who we saw, waiting in front of us; the same teenagers from before! They asked me if I still had the dime and I pulled it out of my pocket to show them!
Today, 6 years later, Nick and I are seniors in high school, but we kind of went our separate ways shortly after Middle School and now Nick is just another mutual face in the halls. But I don't think either one of us will ever forget the time I caught a flying dime on top of Storm Runner! I have no other explanation for this miracle other than God was watching over me that day, and on several other days as I'm quite an adventurer and it seems like I have several near death encounters every year! For instance, just this morning, I got swept off my roof by a strong gust of wind and I fell 10 feet sharply to the ground in one of the worst positions imaginable rolling on my neck, kneeing myself in the face, and rolling onto my back! I have profuse pain in my lower back and my spine bent just about as much as it can without snapping in two! It hurts but I'll walk it off within a week hopefully. I'm just glad I ain't paralysed. This experience reminded me of all the other times I have cheated death and that's why I'm here writing this! If you read my whole story, thank you, I hope you have a better day than I'm having and God Bless!
Update: 2 years later and Nick and I are good friends again
Do you still have the dime? :)

I was scared to ride this because I was there at night and at the time the coaster, the waiting line, and even the color of the tracks and the carts looked exactly like the roller coaster in final destination.
