Hey Mike
Duke is looking very good 👍🏻
That truck is really looking good . Nice work 💪on her thanks for letting us watch the progress
Great video Mike really enjoy watching you do the upgrades to Duke. Looking forward to your next video stay safe Mike.
With your shim plates being made with square stock, I think you'd be able to use carriage style bolts to holt that bumper on,making for a smoother look, just food for thought
Cool idea
Cool that you're going to add some bling to Duke!!
Hew buddy duke looks good with new stacks hope you family are doing great
Happy New Year Mike!!! You're the best!!!
Good morning Mike from eastern Oregon, 31degrees and clear. Little by little your getting it. Hey Mike WD40 makes some spray called DRY LUBE it works great on putting parts together, and Dielectric grease works great in getting wiring through a firewall or a bulkhead.Exhaust looks Great!
Stacks look nice Mike 🙂
I always loved the old fashioned double round headlights from the earlier trucks on a Pete.
So true. Those square head lights a so no go….
Happy new year to you and your family good new year you and your family
Have a great New Year Mike!
Ahh there’s ladders behind you
I guess I could Ha e used the 12' ladder kinda forgot about it
@@mikethetrucknut it’s easy for us to see stuff you can’t lol,,,good videos
If every other light is going to be LED. Why not the headlights?. The standard headlights make it look outdated
Is that an old Schlumberger truck
yes it was
Mike, a little hint for the stainless bolts. If you put nickel based anti-seize compound on the threads, they wont gall up, and become a one use fastener.
Best wishes from Northern Manitoba.
Why didn’t clean and paint these brackets and also use anti seize lube on the bolts
I love this video mike this is awesome I learned some good stuff keep it coming mike 😊
Thanks Jon 👍
I think you should of strait pipe it the cat's have a good sound to them
Duke looks great new stacks and headlamps keep up great videos enjoy watching tim from long island new york
That's the thing with having two garages, you need to double up on the tools so that you have two of everything. That way you have the tool you need at hand which ever garage you are in.
Awesome job Mike. you have the Duke looking good.👍👍
Thanks 👍
anyone else see the two ladders laying against the wall on the other side of the garage?
That's what I was wondering too.
Are you going to get duke out of the garage with them tall stacks?
Ohh yeah... But I forgot about the cab being out of air. I better check just before it goes out
Ya so, if you take cool old trucks that have potential, then turn into trucks that look like somebody loves them

Happy new year Mike be safe love the channel been watching from the start of the channel
Thanks Marty 👍
And airhorns on the roof! 👌🏼👌🏼. Better than those trucks with no horns on the roofs. I call those trucks vans 😅
Hey Mike. Happy New Year. Duke is looking sharp. Keep the videos coming and stay warm up there. Be safe and God Bless.
Hello Mike happy new year.. good to see the workshop 😀
Mike, Mike, I didn't finish watching this video and it is a blessing that the stainless bolts are too long, because I watched as you wanted to use the impact gun on those bolts. DON'T DO IT! Stainless and impact guns do not play well. If you want the nuts welded to the bolt, use the impact. If not, do it the old fashion way, rachet and box wrench. Having said that, I'll continue watching the video.
The single square lights reminds me of a peterbilt 357/367
The Peterbilt semi looks so good with the new stacks and the great front and I was hoping if you do the headlights that it would get "old-school" twin headlights, but now you're back to the "ugly" single headlights your turn. It's a shame, it looks so immature and squints terribly.
Good work and a happy new year!
Try twisting your tie wrap tails of with a pair of small vice grips ,,,it make a lot less of a jagged edge lot less bleeding
Love the size of the stacks but I’ve always thought the flattops looked better with short stacks. Makes them look like they’re doin 100mph while they’re sitting still if you pair them with the right visor and window chops
Don't forget the raincaps rocking b..gotta have em..
Thanks Mike. Happy New Year. Great work on Duke 😀. Looking forward to more content on the Cabovers. Mike from Lancashire 🇬🇧.
Happy new year! yes ill be starting on a cabover very soon.
@@mikethetrucknut that would be Smokey, if I remember correctly. Can't wait..🙂
Entertainment as always mike loved the video
Might have been easier if u opened the hood.
Happy New Year’s to you and your family from southern Ohio
Happy new year!
Looks good but the old round gangster headlights would be better 🤫 these always made me think of the cheap stuff 😉🙈😎Rickster
I was thinking about those too. But just saving the 💵 for the Cabovers for right now
Saw a nice Peterbilt 362 in North Vancouver yesterday. It was a straight truck with a van body used in the movie / TV film industry. Short sleeper and guess what Mike…it was red! There are a lot of cabovers in that line of work down here…most all of them are painted white though. I imagine they don’t get much mileage on them as they always are sitting around filming locations…sometimes for days at a time.
There was a really nice Freightliner in California a year ago or so that was for sale. Movie truck with no miles.
That looks way better 👍
Love those stacks!!
Duke is a gainin!!
Perfect Job
Mikey.. did you just bolt your go pro to your ball cap
Yeah
Watch high stacks if you are pulling a trailer. You leave black streaks down the front and side of the trailer. Dukes looking good though.
Liking the new stacks but defiantly leave those orange lights on those head lamps gives it a better look personally, and adds something
to the width being only a single lamp.Keep them vids comming
FYI. Take a piece of rubber hose and split it and put on the bottom of the license holder. I learned the hard way. The holder beats on the bumper going down road! I screwed up a $600 bumper in a month.
Yikes, ill do that
Hi! Will You been doing any hood conversions like "Little Big Hood"? Basically it is "straight" short hood with long hood grill top. Very interesting to see how people make those hoods.
Id like to swap it for an aluminum short hood but i have to save my $$ for the cabovers.
que año es ese modelo
😎👍
This going to be a Stubs to "Stretch" year? Uh? Heh?! Stretch? lol Love to see that Pete with the C14 in him get some love? :-) Smokey is your colour as well... some Smokey love this year maybe as well? :-)) Do the Gentry inframe and tune on that series 60 Detroit [Green paint in his future] :-)) Hope all is well with your Dad and mom as well and think you guys will have some fun working in the shop this coming spring and summer :-)
Lots planned for cabovers, Duke has one or two more episodes then we are switching it up
@@mikethetrucknut I enjoy the episodes on Duke but I love the look of the Cabovers [nostalgic after growing up in the 60's and 70's I guess]. You have the double whammy of having the 70's leanings and also that your Dad used to work those old Cabby's as well. Very cool those. :-)
@@robertironside3166 me too, three more episodes on Duke then we start back on the Cabovers
Hope you had a great Christmas and new years
Thanks Don we really did.
Duke Caboom needs a A model KW brother that one you found outside your clients yard
Seriously you need a KW A model to complete your set for now @peterbiltmike
Mike said someone else had bought that KW, when I asked.
