  • This ortho lesson demonstrates how I bend my mushroom spring on my spring action Hawley retainers. I use a 3 prong plier for most of the heavy lifting. This technique is great practice if you are thinking of becoming an orthodontic dental technician. The skills in this video will help you learn conformity. There is a growing amount of people who need orthodontic work but can't afford it. A spring retainer or spring aligner is just the low cost solution for these patients. They are so valuable to learn in the ortho lab field. Check out other ortho lab video lessons on this channel and thank you for your continued support. Also, please Subscribe to my Music channel on UA-cam. I will be teaching beginner piano lessons for people who actually want to learn cool songs without learning scales, theory, boringness etc.etc. You can check it out by following the LINK at the end of this video.

Frank Liebmann the one I use was custom made. It's the perfect arches for making retainers etc. I've used other brands turrets in the past and never found one like this one.
