SPV PARTS A - PILLAR (DITCH) LIGHT KIT FOR FORD 2021+ RAPTOR/F-150
This A-Pillar Light kit from SPV Parts includes Your Choice of Rigid Industries Light pods and SPV Stainless Steel Powder-coated Brackets. (Select Light Choice from the drop-down list)
New version for 2021 F-150's and Raptors.
It also includes the SPV Parts A-Pillar Custom Wire Harness. The Harness has 3 wires and is designed to work with ANY light kit. It will work with the Radiance 3 wire lights, or the 2 wire Lights. The kit includes basic connectors to add to any light without them, as well as Plug in DT Connectors for Rigids Pro Lights.
Radiance Backlight wire kit or Marker Adapter are options for Radiance, Scene and 360 Series Round Lights only.
This kit uses our standard duty A-Pillar Mounts, which will handle the weight of these lights perfectly well.
If you would like a LARGER light, see our new Heavy Duty A-Pillar Mounts for the 2021+ Raptor and F-150.
NOTE-
For Raptor Applications, you do NOT need a relay. The included harness and hardware are all you need.
For the F-150 NON Raptor Models, select the optional Relay Plug in harness. This harness quickly connects to the already included harness to draw power from the battery. From there, you can connect it to any switch, or you can add our F-150 Center Console Switch panel kit to power up to 3 Light kits. (Also not required for Raptor Applications)
Relay Harness is pictured and is OPTIONAL in the add on list.
Fits 21 up Raptor and F-150

Interesting choice to mount the wiring to moving objects instead of just popping up the cowl and/or installing to fixed areas. Definitely one option, but believe you'll be fussing with that movement, or like you said...checking to make sure all is good/in place/correct alignment each time the hood is opened/closed. Hope your mechanic/dealership is as careful.
Good video!
Nice man
Can you drill a hole in the a/c intake cowling and run the wires to the driver side instead of on the hood?
Sure. We just demonstrated the least invasive and what required the least as far as removing things.
You showed it on the Raptor. Do these brackets fit correctly on a regular 21-22 F-150, in my case a Tremor?
Yes. They do
seems to me you would get a reflections off the hood with the a-pillar lights pointing forward. Does anybody have experience with running these lights in a real world application? I think flood lights point 45 degrees off to the side would be really helpful.
On my Gen 2 raptor I had a pillar XL80's with the driving combo lenses and I did not have issues with reflections off the hood. I liked them so well that I just purchased another set for my Gen 3. If I was to have only one set of lights it would be a pillars first only if all the lights are facing forward and not something like the LP4's or something with side illumination.
How do you access the wire harness behind the headlight? I cannot find it for the life of me.
There is a main wire bundle there behind the battery case. Depending on who assembled the truck. I’ve heard of cases where it’s easy to access and grab the wires and others where it is impossible. So if it’s too difficult, it is sometimes easier to just remove the 12” long bolt that holds the strap to the battery. Remove the battery. Then the plastic case under the battery has 2 bolts I believe. If you remove that, you have all the room you need to find the wires on that bundle.
@@jtrischler thanks. I found them after I viewed your other video. I just ordered my harness kit. I ordered my lights and brackets elsewhere and had no idea I needed those to make my life easier!
Any light options for the side vents?
We may look at something. It would be more cosmetic though if that’s what you mean. More of a glow or illumination. Not a driving type light.
@@jtrischler yes that’s what I was referring to. If you search it online you see plenty of light options for the regular F-150 side vents. But nothing yet for the 2021 gen 3 raptor. I’ve been looking everywhere for them but I can’t find any. Plz lmk if you could help in any way
@@jtrischler any update on the vent lights?

I like watching his videos, but this one was hard to watch, bad lighting. Looks like he is hiding from his wife while installing new items on the raptor. Lol.
We will definitely try to get the lighting better in the future! 😄😂
