Although this is a great inspirational talk, I dislike the way he talks about design. Adding mysticism to design makes it unapproachable by younger audiences considering design as a career. David Kelley is perfectly suited for the crowd he is speaking to though, inspiring the right people at the right time in their lives.
How can I expose my grandsons to be willing to take baby steps. They always say no to me. They will study as they feel confident in that area, but have no confident in any other area, i.e., sports, art, drama, etc. They are in music because their uncle was in music. But unwilling to venture out to anything else.
