This song is really great. Like seriously, it feels like how I understand DOOM Eternal to play; with intense segments of heart-racing thrash, split with some chill segments to reflect and recompose yourself before the next thrashing. Here, we have a slower buildup, one that acts much like the war drums used to get your blood pumping, followed by an epic drop complete with the demonic growls of the soon-dead denizens of hell. There's some glorious industrial, guttural beats and an amazing slammer of a drop. But where I feel this song shines the most are in the more reflective parts. The guitar in these segments is truly stunning, with a simple, but powerful tune ripping and tearing, all being shoved into your instinctual being by some heavenly sound design. Really does feel like you're ripping and tearing all through both heaven and hell. The guitar is just the best thing here, and while it's pumping you up, taunting you to continue, that melody is constantly acting like a buffer, stifling you just enough that you're holding back for when the next drop hits. And when it comes, it's like some kind of unending rage of a release. So, yeah: love the guitars and overall sound design, with some really great chaotic flow to it. Not the hardest thing, but fits perfectly for the theme Ronin was going for, I believe.
Forgot to blast it during the premiere and now upon further inspection I realize how much I like this song, specifically the undertones. It keeps me very engaged and inspires me, like this channels content usually does :).
ZeuS Games no, you must contact each producer individually for permission to use their tracks in your videos. A lot of them are really nice so just ask them :)
Seriously, Ronin has two tracks and both are god tier. Excited to see more.
