My grim started clicking during the twisting motion last halloween. I didn't pull anything apart yet but where and what do you think I need to fix this issue? I'm assuming there's something wrong in the waist area. Do they make replacement gears or whatever might be needed? Everything else seems to be working fine. Thanks Ron
Awesome. Yep looks to complicated for me haha 😆. Can you program more than one animatronic with the larger controller so it's like they are talking to each other?
Unfortunately I dont know of getting a brand new one I could check, mine might still have the original board in it How much would you be willing to spend if I delt with removing it
@bobrussell8610 yeah that sounds ok to me I am pretty busy with work lately I will see if I can get to it Remind me in a week or so if you dont hear back I may accidentally forget
@bobrussell8610 I apologize I did have it slip my mind I pulled it out just now I dont have my power supply and no way to really hook it up since my grim is so heavily modified but it should be fully working since it was only used a day or so before I modified grim On my main channel kadens toy reviews and modifications I have contact information posted Let me know how we can get something arranged
Is there a way to wire his original led eyes into servo dmx? Or could you a video on how to wire the neo pixels? I'm not familiar with leds and having hard time finding the right Info
Yes you could wire his original eyes, however they would probably just be on all the time (they wouldn’t really be addressable ) I’d be happy to make a video on the neo pixels later today It’s really not super tricky The only hard part is getting his eyes open so you can replace the leds
@@Hawky13 oh damn. Well looking forward to a neopixel eyes video then. Just need to see how its wired up. I'm not too familiar with electronics in general but I was able to get the custom servo to work for the jaw following your videos. Eventually wanna try to do the arms and waist. But I wanna finish the head first
@@maul6117 I’m so happy my videos can help! I feel you with not understanding how it’s wired Neo pixels were a whole new thing to me when I made grim as well Neo pixels are pretty easy though And very similar to the servos as far as wiring
Can you recommend where I can get an external speaker with the proper jack for Grim?

I am pretty sure the clicking you hear is from the sensor that is used by the computer chip to sync the waist motor
Mine does the same thing
My wife hooked up the wrong power cord to him and now he has no sound but moved perfectly fine. Any idea what I can do to get some sound for him ??
@@christiancruz2588 were you able to get any sound?
Most likely it may be permanent

Yep
You could actually do to full grim animatronics if you wanted or a bunch of smaller ones
So awesome
Are you going to put more videos of you reprogramming other animatronics?
@@brandonwatts1187 eventually I plan to yes
Looking forward to it
