Here come the tears😭🥺😍 Emma and Hooks scene messed with my heart. Such a beautifully written scene. The line “My walls were up but you brought them down, and brought me home.” While it shows captain swan always makes me cry😭
So true. I love how this scene/song unites all the main ships. I ended up here because of rumbelle but I noticed some comments about how captain swan. And this scene also gave a lot of sentimentality to snowing and outlaw queen. I love how they overlap rumple themes over the other ships’ main themes (finding one another, bringing down your walls, redemption through love). Some people focus on pitting the couples against each other but if you’re looking for it they actually have things in common. I wish there were more scenes like that in the show.
Just noticed that this also plays in Season 4 when Emma reunites with her family after Elsa convinces her not to give up her magic. Such a beautiful song.
