One thing I feel it’s missing is instrumentals. All it has is that simple tune while the official ycr had awesome guitar and drums in the background. Not to say this one’s instrumental is bad, it just feels empty.
i feel like that's the point, Mighty believes he is scary enough without the loudness of sonic.exe's songs, so him having more quite songs would work better in his case, it also just fits the character in my opinion
As rough around the edges the old animations were it still had it charm. The pixel sprites midway looking like an edited sprite ripped from Chaotix, with some touch up it would have been perfect. Also let's not forget about the environment changing from "these icy isles" to one of the Bowser's castle stages from Super Mario bros is rather jarring.

I'm curious as to what a Triple Trouble D-Sides song would look like. Sure Tails would be replaced by Ray but idk about Knuckles and Eggman. Maybe Knuckles could be replaced by Sonic himself since Mighty, Ray, and Sonic were a trio in the SegaSonic arcade game but I'm still not sure about Eggman. Sure he can still be used cuz Eggman is the main antagonist Mighty is associated with but I feel like it should still be someone different. Edit: Just saw that a Triple Trouble D-Sides does exist, and my thoughts on the possibility is now irrelevant 🙃
They should've replaced too slow with begin the chase and replaced you can't run with tasty revenge and replaced cycles with level of fun since its D-sides

Song and sprites are cool. Left pose has square teeth and looks very out of place, and that single glowing eye Mighty gets at the end looks like it was ripped from a different sprite sheet and plopped onto this one.
Remake the left animation and add more intensity to the instrumental and this song will be incredible. If the rest of the song was like pixel part then this would definitely be better known
