I’ve been fortunate enough to see Slayer about 20 times thru the 80’s, 90’s etc. Nothing like the original but still kick ass and can be appreciated. Slayer is crazy live. Saw them in 1986 on Reign in Blood tour for my first of 6 times. Just explosive live. I know nothing like it. For all new or younger metal fans who saw this. It's the measuring stick in thrash. They are the best
Back, way back, when I was 16, my friend Robert and I would stay up all night listening to Slayer and then in the early morning hours, we'd go out walking around the back streets and talk about our favorite bands and songs. I'd do it all over again if I could.
One thing I've noticed is that Kerry seems to be standing much closer to Tom than in the previous show, which is a positive development. Considering their history as bandmates for over three decades, it's heartwarming to see them on good terms

Considering Tom is the only one who has actually been retired for the past 5 years, he looks and sounds GREAT. I was really hoping he'd do some headbanging for old time's sake since it's ony three shows, but he sure looks like he was having fun.
