Sukhad is called Sukat in maharashtra but is a dry fish. Great series we loved each of them. Great effort. You should out English subtitles so younger generation out of India can understand.

This recipe is very similar to Bengali's very famous vegetarian dish 'Dhoka r dalna', which is very commonly prepared in many traditional houses on today's time.

Sukadh or dried meat is called kabab in Andhra n Telangana. We eat it as side dish like papad n also used in curry like brinjal or onion.
Ji hydrabadi Bakra Eid me bana ke save kar lete Thay,kacchay goasht me hi adrak lehsan,mirch,namak Laga kar sukhate Thay,aur deep fry crispy,golden colour ane tak fry karte aur khatti dal,chawal ke Sath khate,wah kia Maza ata tha,hum subki favret cheez 😋

Khandiyan is not a lost recipe at all...in Bengal it's called DHOKA and is being frequently cooked in most of the Bengali houses
