JYP isn't a bad company but Blacklabel is perfect for Somi. She has mad a special place for her in the company, all the oppas treat her so well, she seems more happy and even seems to have more freedom here to express herself and interact with everyone. JYP already had too many idols, she would have never been able to get the attention she deserves and is receiving in blacklabel.

1. Competed in Sixteen (the group that debuted TWICE) but she was eliminated on the final round because JYP said she was too young. Shes 14 during that time

I cannot emphasize it more but The Black Label knows how to take care of their artists. Her relationship with the people around her during those times is very crucial to her success. I love how the black label brothers treat somi like their own lil sister. They must felt like they should care her more since she had been in the music industry alone since she was young. Going through 2 survival programs at such a young age is not easy though. And debuted as a solo is not easy too since she need to carry all the burden by herself but thanks to her caring the black label brothers, somi overcame all her problem.
