I love how both of them are the caregivers in the relationship. I've seen this a lot both in BL and straight romances, they tend to have one person (usually the most manly one) being the most level-headed and mature, but here we can see how both of them are at the same level

i don't know much abt the audiovisual BL and straight media, but at least in queer comics i can see more balance btw the couple in some works. the majority still relies on this kinda trope, but more recent comics are changing this. i hope that, w this GL, we can see more change in future works as well, regardless of the genre.

I like how Mon isn't just a fragile, weak girl who needs assurance. Most of the dramas make girl that way for the plot. I'm not saying it's bad when a girl is weak or anything. Just saying that I like Mon being a strong girl. love seeing Mon fighting for her place, isn't afraid to say what she thinks, & actually a good person. She's also good at taking care of others. We have 2 girl bosses as main protagonists & that's all I could ask for.

This GL is done so well, and so well balanced! It seems very realistic & chemistry between cast members are natural! Not awkward or cringey, they all come together cohesively. The main leads have individual characteristics that make them stand out (and have amazing chemistry when they're together), the friend groups are charismatic, funny & add so much to the plot instead of being background characters, Kirk isn't villianised extremely despite being the competition, the grandma was strict but I can totally see it happening in real life, etc. So many things that other drama series needs to learn from :) Great work!
